Lucian's POV

I had decided not to sleep in the same room with Diana as I knew doing that would mean more quarrels and fight so I decided to sleep in the guest room that was a little bit farther than ours.

As I laid in my bed, I could not stop thinking about what Diana had said. I knew she was sad and pained hut it wasn't my fault. The fact that she had given birth to a baby for me was not enough assurance that I was going to have one that would live to take over my alphahood when I die. But still, what she said about the moon goddess using all that was happening as a sign for me to accept what was still made me think my act through.

"Maybe Diana is right," I said to myself as I sat back up on my bed. "Maybe all that has been happening is a sign. Maybe the moon goddess doesn't want me to bring back Alana to the pack."

A different thoughts then crossed my mind. What if the baby died after I decided to let go of Alana? That would mean that all that I had gone through was all to no avai
