I almost gave up on asking the pack elder what was going on and I just wanted to leave it to mean that he was playing on my intelligence.

It had to be that or something else that I could not explain so I let the sleeping dog lie until he came early this morning to give me the final part of the news I have been waiting for.

I was shocked to my bones when he told me that Nixie was a wolf and I did not know how to react because it was absolutely unbelievable.
