Lucians POV

I immediately let go of Iago as a sense of guilt flooded me.

What had I done?

"You should control yourself, Lucian," Iago said as he began rubbing his wrists. "You should not let your emotions take the best of you. Cause if you do, you lose both what you have and what you want to have."

I stared at the rogues laying on the floor. Iago was right. Now that they were like this, there was no way they could fight alongside with me, strong or not. I was blinded with rage and the adrenaline to kill. If Iago had not stopped me, I didn't know what I would have done and that scared me more.

I threw the blade in my hand to the floor and turned to walk away. I paused halfway and turned to the rogues before apologizing to them.

"Sorry," I muttered. "You can take yourselves to the infirmary so that the pack healer would heal you of your wounds. After that, you leave," I said before walking away.

As much as I felt a sense of guilt for doing what I had done, the truth still remained
