CHAPTER 1

Dum ... Dum ... Dum ...

The sound of loud music made by one of the famous bars in Los Angeles greeted all the ears of the people who stopped there. Rocking people to dance together without knowing who the partner is.

Eflic. Is the greatest bar in Los Angeles. Has about fifty bartenders, both male and female.

Every day, the bar is always full of visitors. Either to release fatigue from working all day or look for a partner to complete hidden desires.

"Hi beauty, I need alcohol to forget my troubles today."

The woman who was near the male customer turned her head, then smiled.

"How about a cocktail? I have a new recipe today." 

The beautiful woman with long black hair replied. And the man nodded in return.

"Whatever," replied the man.

Eflic forbids the customers there to tease the bartender who is working. They don't want any discomfort from visitors who are impudent.

And the visitors already understand very well the slogan when entering the bar area.

"Your drink is ready, sir."

The woman with long black hair gave the customer a glass of bluish green drink.

The man reached out to take the drinks. Then took a slow sip of the cocktail, feeling a chill creeping through his throat.

"This is amazing," said the customer to the bartender earlier.

"I told you, didn't I?"

The woman smiled.

"Bella! Make some of your newest cocktail many of our customers like it," said the short-haired woman.

Yes. The girl with long back hair was Arabella, or usually called Bella. Bella has beautiful eyes when you look at her, her skin is white and smooth like most women in general.

Bella is also the only bartender at Eflic who has the ability to mix alcohol. Many people like the recipe. And that made the male bartender at Eflic compliment her. However, most female bartenders at Eflic hate Bella because of her strengths. Thanks to Bella's cleverness in making a delicious drink. She is also noted as the best bartender in Eflic by the boss.

Of course, that made the other female bartenders hate Bella even more.

Only Kylie, a friend who is also a bartender at Eflic who doesn't hate her like the others. Kylie believes that if Bella has a special ability to mix drinks to attract customers, that's also what makes Eflic crowded.

"Okay," Bella said to Kylie.

Because she is used to mixing drinks, Bella makes several cocktails with her newest recipe on the fly. And it didn't take long for Kylie to pass the drink to the waiting customers.

However, while Bella was busy preparing another drink, many people dressed in black came and made a scene at her boss's bar.

The people in black suits came and broke into the contents of the bar. From throwing a chair the customer is sitting on, to breaking the glass which is the most important asset in a bar.

Bella looked at the situation that was happening before her eyes with a look of disbelief.

Seriously!

The best bars in Los Angeles are now falling apart by strangers. Even some female visitors screamed at the surroundings. Some people choose to leave and run away before being affected by what is happening now.

"Call the boss!"

Bella told Vio to immediately call their boss. Vio also trembled when she saw the situation. The male bartenders got down and persuaded them to stop making a fuss. But all they got was a beat from the people who were there.

Bella covered her mouth in disbelief.

"What is this!"

Bella approaches the group of men dressed in black and saves Sean, the male bartender that Bella thinks of as her older brother.

"Bella, don't come near there! It's dangerous!"

Bella ignored Kylie's screaming voice. The girl remained close to help Sean.

"Stop it!" Bella screamed, asking the people to stop hitting Sean.

"Why are you doing this?"

One of the men there laughed, which sounded terrible to Bella's ear.

"We're just doing our job, Miss. Where is your boss now?"

Bella gulped as the big man stared at her.

"If you want to see our boss, you don't have to do something like this!"

Bella spoke angrily to the man there in a trembling voice. Afraid of course. Bella couldn't imagine being hit by them either.

"Sean ..."

Bella reached out for Sean's helpless body, the tears in the corners of her eyes starting to come out. She was afraid to see Sean dying like this.

"Please!" Bella said to the other male bartender. And not a single one of them was moved to come forward to help.

They didn't care about Sean. Where was their friendship when Sean was like this?

Bella snorted at the man who brutally beat Sean earlier.

"You'll die in my hands," Bella said earnestly. And what was heard next was the people in black were laughing. Laughing at the courage of the little girl who is now struggling to support Sean's body to take him to the nearest hospital.

Brukk !!

But unfortunately, Bella, who did not pay attention to the road, hit the person in front of her. She vowed to curse the man for getting in her way.

"Where are you going?"

Bella looked up. Staring intensely at the man in white.

Who is this man?

Why did the group of men in black there immediately bowed when this man came?
