Chapter 1(my anticipated freedom)
Hazel's Point Of View "No!âI cried as the casket was being lowered into the ground. I ran towards where the casket was being lowered, I wasn't ready to let go. I'd rather be buried down there with him than let go of him. The men in charge of the burial stopped me in my tracks, holding me back. I kicked and punched to escape their grasp but it was all useless. They began to cover up the hole. âLet me go!!" I yelled, tears rolling down my cheeks as I felt a pang in my chest. "I'm his mother! Let me go near my child!!" I begged but they didn't let go, instead, they pulled me back until the hole was all covered up. They finally let go of me, leaving me to run to the grave and scratch the soil. I didn't care if it would take forever to dig it up with my bare hands, I only wanted to see his face. I only wanted to hold his hands again and caress his hair. I wiped my tears even though more fell out uncontrollably. I tilted my neck back, realizing no one was behind me anymore. I had been crying for hours. They all disappeared. They all left me with my agony. Those cruel creatures. I picked myself up, making use of my wobbly legs after realizing it was of no use anymore. HeâŚ.was gone, nobody cared about my son, not even his father! I left with a heavy heart, returning to the palace. I didn't bother boarding a taxi, I didn't want to be in that palace in the first place. I arrived at the palace, walking in. All the workers greeted me, and I threw them fake smiles even though I knew their sympathy couldn't be more fake. âThat's what she gets for being so arrogant." One of them whispered. Somehow, her words didn't do a number on my heart, I only headed straight to my room with zero expressions on my face. I got near my room and was about to open the door but I halted when I heard moans escaping my room. âAhhhâŚâŚyes!! DamianâŚ...yess!!â I heard as I drew nearer to my room. I recognized that voice, it was my sister's. I couldn't be less surprised. They literally fucked every where they found themselves and now my room? They didn't care if I was around or not. I slightly pushed the door open, peeking at them. Zara bent over as Damian screwed her from behind. Moans escaped her lips as Damian thrusted in and out of her in rhythm. There he was, my mate, banging another woman from behind. That woman was my siâŚ. No, she wasn't my sister, she would never be my sister. Never! She was just a betrayer. After all, we don't share the same parents. I was the black sheep now. My parents neglected me for an adopted child. How disappointing does that even sound? Each time I remembered, my heart sank. But today, I felt nothing, not even a little bit. I was used to being heartbroken every time, and losing my child already made my heart hit the bottom of the sea, so what was there to sink again? He filled her up with his cum and pulled out, pulling her into a passionate kiss. Only if he would kiss me so passionately. They got dressed and headed towards the door, I quickly hid myself behind the wall and waited for them to walk away before I came out and entered my room. I could still feel and smell them in the room. I sighed, falling on the bed while tears slipped out from the corners of my eyes. âHow did my life end up this way?â I whispered to myself, whimpering. My life used to be so perfect, until Zara came into the picture and stole the spotlight. She stole my spot, stole my parents, stole my mate. My husband! She stole everything as if it was destined to her! I used to be perfect, everyone loved me but somehow, tables turned and Zara switched from being the shadow to being the main character. I had everything a woman wanted. A great life, great parents and a great husband- the beta! I thought he would stick to me alone, only to find out that he was a special breed who could have multiple mates and then, the moon goddess chose to make my sister and I mate with the same man. I just felt cheated on everything. She always stole everything from me and she was always winning as if she had the moon goddess right by her side fighting all her battles against me. Each time I grasp something, she would show up and grasp it tighter. I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to flee, to somewhere far away where no one would ever find me. I wanted to flee from reality and run as fast as I could, out of existence. I got up from bed. I knew I couldn't keep laying low forever, I needed to make actions and flee. At least they would then have enough privacy to fuck all day without caring about me. I waited patiently for night time when Zara and Damian would be fucking, again. Finally after what seemed like forever, the time came and I went out of the room, sneaking. As I approached the entrance of the palace, a voice abruptly stopped me. âMiss, what are you doing out here?". I turned back and saw it was one of the guards. I waved my hand, pretending like everything was fine. âI'm fine, I just need to go out for some air." I replied. âLosing a child is reallyâŚâŚ heartbreaking," I added, my heart shattering into pieces again as I remembered. That did it, he nodded and forced a smile before leaving. I slipped out of the gate, walked further a little and as soon as I was about ten feet away, I took to my heels, fleeing. The sound of my feet beating against the floor echoed in the streets but I didn't care, I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. I was desperate for freedom. I tilted my neck back, still running. A smile crept on my face as I didn't see the palace again, it was all covered in fog. This is it, my anticipated freedom. I cocked my neck back forward, only to run into something hard and fall to the floor. My heart pounded as I looked up and saw a muscular figure in front of me, his blue eyes piercing through the fog that covered his face. My chest heaved up and down as I balled my fist, capturing some soil in my palm. âWhere do you think you're going?".Chapter 2(the ritual) Hazel's Point Of View: âWhere do you think you're going?" Damian's voice echoed in the cold night, giving me the chills. âDo you think I'm done with you?". "I-â before I could say anything, he grabbed me up roughly and took me back into the palace. We soon arrived at my room. He threw me on the bed and locked the door behind him. âGet undressed!" He snickered, pulling off his shirt. It sounded ridiculous that the next thing he said to me was to get undressed. I sat there, shocked by his words but again, I didn't want any trouble, I already went through enough. âI need another heir," he added while he took off his underwear, his cock heading at me from where he stood. Oh, now I remember why he was keeping me around- to bear his child, since my sister was BARREN! I began undressing slowly. âMake it snappy!" He yelled, ripping my dress off. âI don't have much time!â He added, snatching my panties with his teeth as he laid me down like a puppet.
Chapter 3(Human realm) Hazel's Point Of View: I raced through the forest, my chest heaving up and down as I looked behind me, trying to outrun the wolves chasing after me. Sweat trickled down my forehead, though my palm and feet were cold. I suddenly felt my energy constantly exhausting but I couldn't stop. I had to keep putting a leg in front of the other as every moment swept by. This was my life now since Damian threw me out of the pack. I had been living outside the boundaries of every pack and everyone who crossed paths with me always tried to kill me as I looked more or less like a rogue. They suddenly stopped chasing me. I was confused for a while but I didn't stop, I took advantage of the moment. I then heard them howling loudly, making my eyes widen. âOh shit!" I exclaimed, still sprinting. I groaned in pain as I hit my head against a hard surface that abruptly seemed to appear out of nowhere. I fell to the floor, feeling dizzy as something warm trickled do
Chapter 4(the wedding)Alex's Point Of View:â....our bride!" The priest announced and the hall became tranquil, only the solemn sounds of the piano was heard.Everyone anticipated my beautiful bride. It was crazy how I fell in LOVE in a few weeks, rather it was infatuation ignited by my desperation.I was desperate to get married to become the assistant of the mafia Lord in our mafia system. I was a werewolf but I stayed a lot in the human world and I had gathered enough connection and power to become a mafia, but that wasn't enough. I wanted more power, more connection.Several seconds swept by and Sophia still wasn't walking in.âLet's welcomeâŚâŚour bride!â The priest announced again, stretching his hands towards the aisle as the smile on his face began to look forced.Murmurs began to fill the hall as the guests whispered. The piano suddenly stopped playing in the background, increasing the tension.I shoved my hands in my pocket to clench my fist. It better not be what it looked l
Chapter 5(stay away from Alex) Hazel's Point Of View: I walked down the road, heading to the grocery store to get something for lunch. Alexander and I didn't really get along together but that made our connection a bit special. We cared for each other but pretended as if we didn't. It was amazing finally having someone by my side, someone who actually cared. Each time I visualized his face in my head, a blush always crept on my face. I mean, he was stunning and his smile couldn't be resisted. Even though I've only seen his smile a couple of times, I couldn't resist it. Was it his perfect teeth? Or his dimples? Or what? What could I resist? His eyes? I thought the butterflies in my belly were dead due to my experience with Damian but they were only asleep. It seemed as if Alex had awoken them. Here I was, crushing on a guy who was only searching for ways to get revenge on his ex fiance and his brother. Even though we hadn't known ourselves for so long, he told me about his life.
chapter 6(the date with Alexander Bluemoon)Hazel's Point Of View:My neck snapped to the right as my cheek stung. I sighed, walking past her without saying another word. I knew she was just a pain in the ass but I wouldn't stoop so low to her level and cause a scene at the grocery store.I arrived home and went straight to the kitchen to cook up something while Alex was on call with someone.I was almost done cooking and I took a spoon of the sauce and went to feed it to him while he was doing a few things on his laptop. âCareful, it's hot." I warned, smiling.âWhat do I look like? A baby?" He laughed before opening his mouth and taking the spoon in. He nodded. âNice sauce. But I was actually planning on us eating out tonight." He spoke, fixing his gaze on the laptop."Is this you asking me on a date?âI asked, smiling. He laughed, âOnly a man who believes in love can do that. Love sucks, I mean love does not exist.â He replied."What a weird conversation. Anyway, I'll go on the date
Chapter 7(stay away from her)Hazel's Point Of View:âDo you believe in fate?â He asked in a whisper.'He is a monster, flee from him!â that bitch's words rang in my head again. What If her words were true? What if Alexander was only trying to get into my head and then he's only pretending hard to get so he can get more Tangled in my emotions. All I could do was assume possibilities but not discover the truth.âAre you okay?" He asked, raising a brow. I forced a nod, pressing my lips in a thin line as my grip tightened on the wine glass.I took a sip of the wine, swallowing it to suppress my awkwardness.âSoâŚâI paused, placing the glass back down, watching him anticipate my next words. âTell meâŚ. about yourself. I mean, I don't really know you.â I said."Oh, yeah. I'm Alex. Alexander Bluemoonâ he spoke. I laughed, "I already know that. I justâŚ. your interests, pet peeves, past history. But mostly interests, I already seem to know your past history.â I replied. He nodded, âsure. I love
Chapter 8(fight club)Hazel's Point Of View:Alex immediately snatched the phone from me and went to sit. I crossed my arms, glaring at him.âI knew you were hiding something! Who is it?" I asked, rolling my eyes.He sighed, "Fine, you caught me. I do not know who it is.". I rubbed my temple, thinking who it might be. It can never be Damian, he already had what he wanted- a heir.âWho could be crushing on me?âI smirked, laughing. He chuckled, "You're one weird asshole.". I rolled my eyes, âwe're in a tough situation here. Our lives are somehow at stake.â I spoke. He shook his head, âWho could mess with one of the most notorious mafia alive?âhe asked.I shook my head, "That's the point, someone oblivious can do that. Who can be close enough to us and still be oblivious?â.âThe person isn't close to us. If they are then they would know we aren't dating. Am I right?â He suggested. I nodded.'YouâŚ.must be familiar with Alexander Bluemoon right?â the words replayed in my head, making my ey
Chapter 9(Alex is mine) Hazel's Point of View: âWhat do you want, Billy?" I asked. Billy was Damian's personal minion who carried out assignments for him and I assumed he sent him on this assignment. âWhat. Do. You. Want?!" I yelled. âYour boss doesn't want me anymore! Then what do you want?âI asked again. Alex's phone beeped aloud, he looked at the screen before giving me a look that I couldn't decipher. âWe do not want you.â Billy replied. "Then? What is it on earth that you want with me?" I asked. âWe do not want you. We want you dead. I personally do.â He sneered. âYou must be crazy in the balls. Is that why you flattened our Tyre?â I asked, frowning. "Yes.âhe whispered. âAnd oh, you moved from our beta to thisâŚâŚcurse?â He snapped. My fist clenched, "You are a curse to earth. Your existence is a curse that shall be reversed if you do not fucking mind your fucking business and go rot serving Damian for the rest of your life in that stupid ass pack!â, He laugh
