2025-02-19 06:42:38I could smell the blood like i was bathing in it. I kept looking around trying to find the source but i couldnt see it. I turned around and slipped on something. I fell, HARD. Knocking me unconcious.When i awoke i was blinded by a very bright light. putting my hand over my eyes i could hear someone breathing. "where am I?" I quietly asked. "Your in the hospital, youve been out for 3 days." The stranger said. I snapped my head in the direction the voice was coming from. I was shocked there was a man alone with me in my room when all i had on was a hospital gown. "Who are you?" I snapped, looking cockeyed. "your parents instructed me not to leave your side until you woke." He said. "where are my parents?" " They went home to get some rest, they havent left your side since you got here." Now that shocked me. The last time I could remember my parents being together for more than a few moments was my 9th birthday. My parents were very much in love with one another still, but they both had full time carreers. They were so busy working that they didnt have time for much. Including me.
The doctor came in and examined me. "how are you feeling?" He asked.
"A little groggy, and I have a horrible headache." I replied.
" That would be from your grade 3 concussion." He stated, matter of factly.
"What?" I said, trying to understand what the hell happened.
" When you slipped and fell the other night, you fell and hit your head. It caused your brain to shake and hit the side wall of your skull. Damaging your brain."
" Ohh. I see. So what exactly does that mean? For me? And what is the recovery for that?" I said hopeful.
" Anywhere from 3-6 weeks, and that means that you need rest and care. No drinking or driving and no exercise. What so ever."
"Well, what happens if i do all those things?"
"Concidering you will be on really high doses of medication, i doubt you will have the energy to."
With that, he left.
About 2 hours pass and im bored out of my mind. I decide to go to my social media and see whats been going on while i was out.
BOOM
My head snaps in the direction of where the huge thud came from. To my surprise its Claire.
"OH MY GOD!! I am so happy your alive!" she shouts in my face while leaning in for a hug.
"Im okay, Claire."
She pulls back and i can see there are fresh tears in her eyes. She looked as if she has been crying for days.
"You better be! I dont know what i would do if- if" She started bawling.
I try to calm her down, then in came my parents. They looked different. Strangely enough they looked happy.
" How are you my darling?" mom says as she leans in to give my forhead a kiss.
" Fine mom. How are you guys doing? You guys look very happy!"
They both look at each other and smile. " We are just great. And we are so happy you are awake and well. The doctor told us that there was a probability that your brain could stay swollen and you might never wake up!" She looked relieved.
"Thats not going to happen." I replied, grasping her hand. " Now tell me, when can i get out of here?"
"Were not sure, we will have to ask the doctor. They might want to observe you another night." Mom says, looking at Dad.
" You can observe me at home. Your a doctor too." I said, giving puppydog eyes.
" Vagina's completly different than the brain, Selene!" Mom says.
Me and Claire just burst out laughing until were practically crying.
"Lets get you home!"
"Wait, Claire! You never told me what happened at the club!"
" You will never believe it!!"

Selene’s POV:It’s been over a week and I was going crazy! I can’t just sit here. It was Claire’s birthday party tomorrow evening and I had to go! After all, it’s been days since I felt dizzy or even took medication. I planned the whole sha-bang, it was my right! I was a wear wolf after all. We heal way faster than normal. I was a good girl, I stayed inside and rested. I let everyone doing everything for me and now it was time to get back to normal. Usually I loved it when I was being fussed and looked after. But after a while I got so fed up with it I was ready to burst!I already had my outfit for Claire’s party, all I needed now was a release from the doctor so no one would get mad at me for showing up, or drinking!I called a cab and waited for them. It wasn’t a long wait. Climbing in I asked to be taken to the pack hospital. Upon arriving there I saw a really nice car parked a-crossed the street from the entrance to the hospital. Claire’s POV: I close my eyes in front of my huge cake. “I wish…” All of a sudden there was a huge crash and one of the guests screamed. My head quickly snaps towards the gut wrenching scream I hear. Two of the guests were fighting and destroying everything in their path. Tables, chairs and crashing into other guests. I couldn’t make out who they were from where I was standing. Everyone was panicking, usually they would have shifted by now. To be honest I’m surprised they hadn’t already. Between the screams and violence i couldn’t think straight. What was I supposed to do?!
