I looked at Eliana, not expecting a reaction from her. Her own eyes studied my expression, though I knew that she didn’t doubt my words, she still didn’t expect them to come out from me. Especially since she knew that I wasn’t a man who wanted to settle.

However, the words had come out before I could control myself. Not that I wanted to anyway, I wanted her to know how I felt about her. The feeling has been there for a while now, everyone with eyes could see it. But I knew that I needed to wait for the right time when the two of us were sure that we wanted to be together the way we were. The two of us were happy, that was something that no one could deny. The comfort she gave me was something that I wouldn’t replace for the world, and I just hoped that I could also return the favor to her.

She stayed quiet for a while, though it was a minute later when she wrapped her arms around my neck and connected our lips in a soft, loving kiss. My own arms had
