“Rise and shine, my love” I heard Eliana say gently. I opened my eyes to find her walking inside the room wearing my shirt and carrying a tray in her hands. Her eyes lit up when she saw me, the smell of food filling my nostrils before I sat up and watched as she put the tray on the bedside table.

“I could get used to mornings like this” I teased wrapping my arms around her and pulling her to sit on my lap. The two of us having been exhausted after last night ended up falling asleep instantly after taking a shower.
