Vladimir:
I sat on the couch with a drink in my hand as I fought to process what Eliana told me.
I had to admit, I wasn’t upset with the fact of who she was. Her being born of a different father wasn’t her fault; but the fact that she knew of it and didn’t tell me hurt me more than I could express. I put my glass down as I waited for her to walk out of her bedroom, the woman was inside fearing my reaction since I had kicked her to her bedroom last night.
It was about eleven when she opened the door to her bedroom and walked out to the living room. Her eyes avoided mine as she waited for me to either speak to her or ask her to leave “what are you doing here, Eliana?”
“Are you going to keep kicking me out whenever you see me approach?” She asked.
“You are in no position to answer a question with a question, Eliana. But to assure you, I didn’t mean it in that sense” I said looking her in the
Eliana:I paced around my room as I feared the worst of what Vladimir could plan to be my fate. The worst being him sending me back home to my family where they would sell me in a heartbeat after beating the hell out of me, and that was something that I couldn’t afford; I hadn’t left that hellhole to return back to it this easily. The anger that my husband showed wouldn’t escape my mind no matter how hard I tried to ignore it, not to mention the fact that I have been locked in this room for a week now.I had tried talking to him, even tried joining him on the same table. But nothing, not a word left his mouth to me, and when it did, he was either scolding or snapping at me about the same thing. But I couldn’t blame him, in his mind, I betrayed his trust by hiding what I did; he couldn’t see the consequence that I would have faced if I told him about it, or maybe he did, he just didn’t want to deal with facing them.Forc
Vladimir:“I can’t believe that you’re forcing your wife into this” dad scolded. I rolled my eyes at him but didn’t bother answering. If he thought that I liked this, then he was very wrong. But we had men who needed to learn their lessons, and one of them being my twin brother who thought that it would be okay to host such an auction in MY territory and land.Flashback:“What?” Eliana asked looking me in the eye.“The auction is being organized by Viktor. I know that you don’t want to be there, and I know that you don’t want to face your dad with this. But I need to stop them, and I don’t want you to live in fear of the threat your dad put you through” I said looking my wife in the eye. The two of us were sitting on the couch. I cupped her cheeks to make her look at me “malyshka, I know you’re scared, but I will be sure to pay the highest bid.
Eliana:My heart raced against my ribcage as I stared at Alberto’s lifeless body.Dad’s eyes were wide in both fear and shock, and I could tell that he was trying to keep himself composed as not to flinch in front of Vladimir. Though that was almost impossible considering the fact that Vladimir had the place surrounded by his men, and they were all armed.Luka guided me to my husband who wrapped his arm around me as soon as I reached him. The action alone earned a glare from dad, his eyes met mine “you little lying…”Dad took a step forward, and to my surprise had the guts to raise his hand as if to slap me. However, the slap never came as Vladimir unwrapped his arm from around me, and held his hand midair. Luka wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me to stand behind him, shielding me from my father’s eyes.I couldn’t see what was happening being blocked by Luka’s back, but dad’s wail of
Vladimir:I walked out of the bathroom and smiled when I saw that Eliana was asleep. She was curled up in the blanket, her wet hair sprawled on the pillow though she didn’t seem to care as exhaustion took over her body. I couldn’t blame her, I was surprised she was able to stand in the shower to begin with after everything she’s been through today.I slowly walked toward her, she was asleep in sweat pants and a grey long sleeved shirt while I wore black sweat pants. I laid by her side and wrapped my arms around her pulling her to my chest. What she had done for me was something that I couldn’t think of a way to repay her for. The woman ignored every sense of being self-conscious and went on ahead doing something that I knew she was against, and she didn’t it without blinking. I couldn’t help but admire her for the strength that she showed in their too, the fact that she trusted me despite everything telling her not to a
Eliana:“Vladimir, you are taking me out on our first date, though you are not even telling me where we’re going for me to dress up accordingly” I glared at my husband who smirked. He took my hand in his and softly kissed my knuckle making me shaking my head at him.“What don’t you understand about the word surprise?” Vladimir teased “just trust me, I already have your dress picked out for you. It should be arriving in a few minutes. All you need to do is get ready, and I’ll be waiting for you down in the office”“You do realize that you barely got home an hour ago” I said crossing my arms over my chest.“Yes, but work doesn’t stop when it comes to such businesses” Vladimir teased and I laughed shaking my head. He cupped my cheeks and kissed my forehead, I couldn’t help but smile at the gentle gesture before his lips connected with my own in a gentle kiss “the
Vladimir:“You rented this place too, didn’t you?” Eliana teased making me chuckle. I pulled out her chair for her to sit then kissed the crown of her head.“I don’t just go around going anywhere, but this place in specific, I didn’t rent” I said looking at Eliana who raised an eyebrow “I bought it for you”“What?” Eliana asked wide eyed.“I was thinking maybe you could start something, a project for yourself. The place is in a classy area, and I was thinking with a little work put up, you could start running the place in a few weeks” I said sitting down. Eliana’s eyes stayed on mine, I could tell that she was in shock by what she was hearing, but I didn’t want her to feel like she had nothing, or that she had to constantly depend on me. Despite the fact that I wouldn’t make her need anything, I wanted her to feel independent of herself.“I don&rsq
Third Person Point of View:“You’ve failed your task” Viktor said glaring at James “not only that, but you cost me my costumers, and now you’re costing me money”“I didn’t expect your brother to be there, boss” James defended. The man’s eyes were wide in fear as he feared the fate his boss planned for him. He knew that the man was angry when he left the auction that night, seeing his brother wasn’t part of his plan. Though he was aware that the woman being sold was his wife, he had assumed that James was smart enough to have at least received her divorce papers.Viktor pulled his gun out and aimed it at James’s head making the man’s eyes widen in fear. He didn’t want to die yet, the man was a coward to admit his own mistakes, and Viktor didn’t like working with cowards. The man was a lot like his brother, aside from the love of power, he and his brother shared many c
Eliana:I glided and kicked Vladimir’s ankles making him lose his balance and fall to the ground. He glared at me and looked up at me watching my satisfied reaction of winning. This was the forth time I’ve beat him today.“Funny when the student beats his master” I teased. But that didn’t last for long as he wrapped his arms around my own knees making me fall on top of him before turning us around and hovering my body.He spread my legs using his thigh and got between them, his arms resting either side of my head on the mat that we were on. His forehead rested against my own as our breaths mixed “my student seems to be forgetting that the master is still a lot stronger than she is, plus the fact that she needed to keep her focus as she should remember that she could easily get attacked again”“That is because you’ve been training for ten thousand years, while poor me has been training for three months&
