With an unreadable emotion in his eyes, Thaddeus sullenly uttered, “Divorce? Now is not the time.”

“I don’t know what’s going inside your head sometimes. All you need to do is file for divorce. Is it that hard?” Jennifer peevishly added. “You’ve always been decisive in everything you do, but somehow, you can never make up your mind about that woman. I don’t know what kind of spell she has you under.”

Thaddeus furrowed his brows.

His mother must be talking about his secondary personality, but it was unlike him. Thaddeus never dragged his feet in anything, and there was no turning back once his mind was made up.

“I’ll file for divorce tomorrow.” Thaddeus glanced in the direction of the garage. “Call Mona to the study later. I will discuss the divorce with her.”

Jennifer clapped her hands. “That’s the spirit. Now you’re talking, son.”

Mona parked the car and took the children by the hand as they advanced to the residence.
