Thaddeus plugged the flash drive into the computer and clicked on the file it contained. Mona’s supposed evidence was snippets of voice recordings and video clips.

“What would you do if Bobby and Millie did something wrong?”

“I’ll hit them.”

“What good can be expected of the b*tch’s children? Her kids are not worth my time.”

“B*tch.”

“Uneducated and unpolished brutes…”

Thaddeus listened and watched all the audio and video files in the flash drive before focusing on Mona. He looked at her in surprise. It was like she was a different person.

It appeared that Thaddeus either never understood the woman or she had been playing mind games and putting on a façade from the start.

“The evidence is in your favor,” he spoke in a husky voice, crossing his arms and propping his chin against the back of his hand. He remained unfazed. “But l
