Chapter 437

Mona took the document and skimmed through it.

It was a prenuptial agreement which roughly divided the responsibilities and obligations of the two people, as well as the division of property.

It was just like the prenup Thaddeus had told her to sign when they got married four years ago. Mona thought that the contents inside were the same, stating matters like them not interfering with each other during the marriage.

Thus, she took the pen handed to her and signed her name on the signature line without reading it carefully.

“There.” Mona handed the agreement to Thaddeus. “Now we can go get the paperwork done.”

She placed her hand on the door and turned to get out of the car, but a large palm wrapped around her waist and pulled her back.

There was a hidden smile in Thaddeus' eyes as he said to Mona, “Since you’ve signed, you can’t go back on your word.”

Mona saw his meaningful smile, and her heart sank. She had a bad feeling.

“Go back on what?”
