Even though the man had given a promise, it was not what Mona wanted.

Thaddeus frowned tightly, and his thin lips pursed. After a moment of thinking, he released Mona’s hand and said, “Your mood has been fluctuating recently. It’s clear you didn’t think it over. Don’t make a decision when you’re in a bad mood. Pick up the children and go home first. I’ll deal with everything else.”

When the man finished speaking, he stretched out his arm to take Mona’s slender waist and walked out.
