“Mona, don’t dump me,” Thaddeus said.

The words vaguely reached Mona’s ears. As she could not hear them clearly, she thought she was hearing things or simply misheard them.

Mona looked back at Thaddeus walking out of the elevator. Seeing that he was expressionless and silent, it seemed she had misheard him.

She was probably hearing things. How could such a proud man like Thaddeus say such words?

Mona shook her head. It must be because she was too tired. She looked down to get the keys from her bag to open the door.
