Xavier’s POV

My eyes landed on the shattered glass and my thrashed room

‘’Shit ‘’ I cursed knowing fully well what had happened

‘’Are you two ok ‘’ I asked the doctors helping them up

‘’We’re fine Alpha but the patient, she woke up and attacked us ‘’ one of them answered stuttering

I immediately ran out of the room while trying to connect to my Betas or Gamma through our pack link

‘’Where is she ? ‘’ I asked bracing myself to shift in case I had to

‘’You’re guest is somewhere in the forest bro and it’s hard to find her since she doesn’t have a scent ‘’ Lydia answered

I blocked her from the mind link and said to Jason and Adrian

‘’ did she recognize any of you ? ‘’

‘’I think she did ‘’ Jason answered

‘’And she had a thing for jumping out of glass windows too’’ Adrian joked

‘’Hold on I’ll be there in a minute ‘’

Cutting off the link I sprinted into the forest as fast as I could focusing on my senses and letting Luca find her scent .

‘’She’s around the oak trees ‘’ Luca said immediately we reached the forest

Without wasting time I dashed into that part of the forest. I could feel Lydia and My Betas behind me as we all ran to my mate’s direction .

HAZEL’S POV

Here I am again running. Tired but still running I thought as I stumbled across a small river

The pain around my body seemed to intensify the further I went but I couldn’t stop .

I had to get back to HQ as soon as possible , I had to find a way to contact Andrew and Tamara.

‘’Ughh ‘’ I winced in pain placing my hand over the faint fang marks on my neck

‘’Damn wolves ‘’ I muttered

The burning pain grew stronger, stronger than anything I’ve ever felt . Closing my eyes briefly trying to fight through the pain I stopped in front of a large tree to catch my breath.

‘’What happening to me ‘’ I whispered

I’ve never been the type to be caught dead in a pack forest , I’m a survivor and a fighter whatever’s happening now can’t be ordinary.

I tried to move forward but I just ended up crashing on the cold muddy floor .

I wanted the pain to go away, I was new to this feeling. Struggling to get up I heard fast approaching footsteps behind me .

Reaching for the shard of broken glass I had collected before escaping I crawled out of the opening and quickly resting my back behind the large tree .

I was grateful for my cover as I tightened my hold around the glass silently waiting .

The footsteps got quiet , Turing my head and peeping to see who it was I heard a voice say

‘’ I know you’re in pain , I can feel it just please come out I can make it better ‘’

The pain intensified immediately the words left his mouth. I tried not to scream and bear the pain hoping it was my body just trying to heal itself.

‘’ you don’t have be scared, I just wanna talk ‘’

I listened to the man as he kept trying to convince me . His voice was almost soothing and calming.

As he approached the tree the pain slowly started to fade away.

For the first time in a long time I felt powerless, and like I had given up hope I just sat there accepting my fate for what’s to come .

Closing my eyes for a brief moment and taking a deep breath I thought about how long I had live .

A hundred years , that was long enough I’d finally get to join all the souls I sent to hell during my life time.

Slightly opening my eyes I saw a shadow and there he was my killer or savior I didn’t know I just wanted him to make the pain go away.

He approached me slowly and I finally got to have a nice view of the man .

This Tall , fit , dark haired man with hazel eyes looked at me with concern written all over his face .

His figure was what I’d like to call godly from his face to his Abs there was nothing but perfection.

He slowly approached me as I kept drooling over his looks not even realizing the burning pain had faded away completely.

The werewolf got closer to me and sat beside me slowly pushing my messy hair out of my face revealing the mark on my neck .

‘’Why did you do it ? ‘’

I asked feeling the dryness in my tone . Of course I knew what it meant but I didn’t want it , not me I’m wasn’t made for things like this .

‘’You shouldn’t be so far away from me , it would hurt more if you try to escape again ‘’

His cold husky voice sent my mind flying into space as I watched his lips move .

‘’That’s not what I asked ‘’ I blurted out

Ignoring my complaint he reached for the spot he marked slowly brushing his fingers against the mark and closing his eyes.

Immediately I felt his cold touch against my skin there were thousands of emotions running through me all at once. His fingers went up and down my bruised neck making me also close my eyes .

His fingers felt like light feathers were being grazed against my skin , tilting my head to the side so he could get better access I hear him growl happily from his chest .

‘’It feels good ‘’ I said not even realizing I had said it out loud

My eyes flew open immediately and I slapped his hands away from my neck . He was taken aback by my actions and I thought

What was I doing ? , he marked me without my permission now I was just letting him touch me .

I frowned at him and asked

‘’Where am I ? ‘’

He stood up putting both his hand inside his pocket and answered

‘’ South America’’

‘’What ? ‘’

I said in disbelief quickly getting up

‘’Why the hell did you bring me here ? ‘’ I yelled out in anger

South America was the last place on earth I wanted to be and I had good reasons

The man continued to stay calm while I was freaking out running my hands over my long black hair over and over again.

‘’I need to get out of here now ‘’

I finally broke out to him

‘’You’re not going anywhere ‘’ he said just as quickly as he grabbed my wrist

‘’Why the fuck did you bring me here do you have any idea what you’ve done ‘’ I said trying to free my hand

‘‘ I don’t buy I have quite a good explanation for why you can’t leave, you killed an Alpha in Asia so no I’m not letting you go anywhere ‘’

His tightened his grip on me and continued

‘’You don’t just kill an Alpha and expect his people not to come for you ‘’

I chuckled at his words and said

‘’Let them come, they can try to get my head anywhere in the world but not here ‘’

He paused for a while as if contemplating what to say next and I continued

‘’Listen if you don’t let me go bad things are gonna happen lots and lots of bad things, you’re the Alpha king right? ‘’ I asked and he nodded his head in confirmation

‘’Then this must be the crescent moon pack ‘’

He nods again

‘’ I’ve heard about you , you love you’re pack and will do anything to protect them but if you keep me here especially as a Mate ‘’

With my free hands I pointed to the mark on my neck

‘’Every In this pack is as good as dead ‘’

I made sure my voice was as convincing as ever but he didn’t look like he was gonna back down.

‘’I don’t care you’re my Mate and Luna so you belong here and I’d love to see anyone try to attack the biggest and most powerful pack in the world ‘’ he said pulling me closer to him

I chuckled at his pride and said making direct eyes contact with him

‘’You have absolutely no idea what you’re messing with’’

‘’ I know I have an Alpha killer who isn’t entirely human as a mate so what could be more worst ‘’

He answered tracing his fingers over my face down to my neck .

I swallowed a lump in my throat as I tried to control my thoughts and not push this gorgeous man against this tree and making him fuck me .

‘’What your name ? ‘’ he finally asked leaning forward making our faces just inches away from each other’s.

Why the fuck am I letting him come so close to me I’m not made for this but hearing that question come out of his mouth I answered like a little obedient puppy

‘’HAZEL MONDRAGON.”

I said in a little whisper

He hummed in satisfaction and voiced out my name

‘’Hazel .... I like it ‘’

The sound of my name coming out of his mouth sent shivers all over my body and his smile after that was to die for . Then it’s hit me
