As an agent we’re practically walking ghost , all records of our existence are wiped out immediately you get signed up for the job . From Name , relations , past life even down to biometrics every thing must stay hidden.

The only ones allowed to have a file on you is the SQA . But here I was swooning over the Alpha king in enemy territory after finding being informed I was passed out for over a week.

The Alpha king who introduced himself as Xavier asked

I was back in his pack house after failing to convince him that I can’t stay here but I couldn’t leave at the same time.

I tried to evade his question with mine pointing to the trio standing outside the door carefully watching us Incase I was planning another escape attempt.

He said drawing a seat for me

I scolded myself inside my head also angry about how uncoordinated this Alpha was making me .

‘’Ok then I’ll let you call them but before that you’ll have to tell me why you killed Rox ‘’

His condition sounded fair enough and I didn’t have to reveal my true identity to him so I’ll just cook up another lie

I said preparing myself

He answered leaning against the wall with his Betas and Gamma no where to be seen.

Taking a deep breath I said

I paused waiting for his reaction and he asked

There was more concern than judgment in his words and for some reason it warmed my heart .

He nods his head and approached the table grabbing a file

I couldn’t answer this particular questions because of the rules but I had to come up with something quickly

He continued to nod his head as he walked towards the chair I was seated .

He handed me a file

I collected it and opened it . It was practically empty with just a picture of an unconscious me . I looked up to him for an explanation .

Grabbing a chair and seating next to me he said

‘’ that’s everything I could find about you which amounts to practically nothing ‘’

He said watching my reaction closely

‘’Well if you pay good money you could get your whole life erased plus it comes in handy in this line of business ‘’ I answered with a forced smile

Xavier closed his eyes briefly and inhaled sharply as if he was trying to contain something and he said

‘’ you’re a terrible liar , everything you told me is fucking lie I’m the Alpha king I listened to your heart beat at it goes up every time you lie . The only true you’ve told me is your name but it’s ok it doesn’t matter you can lie all you want but I’m not letting you leave here ‘’

His voice sounded low and much more cold sending shivers down my spine .

‘’Fuck ‘’ I cursed In my head I forgot mates had this thing where they can’t lie to each other .

He got up placing a phone in my hands and said

‘’you can call your family and if they wanna see you they’ll have to come here on their own ‘’

The Alpha motioned for the door but I stopped him in anger yelling out

‘’You can’t keep me here , I don’t give a fuck about your stupid mating bond you don’t own me ‘’

In an instant my back was against the cold wall with Xavier’s hands around my neck and his huge figure towering over me . His eyes had gone completely dark and his voice was more horrid

‘’I fucking brought you here as my mate and that’s how It’s gonna be so you better behave before I take other measures to make you stay ‘’

I said in my head as I also thought of a way to get out of my current situation

With His hands still on my neck he raised his nose up a little drawing the a breath from the air

And I just froze there lost into sweet sensation of his warm touch . Our foreheads touched making my breath quicken as his hands slowly went up the T-shirt he gave me after the forest episode.

What the hell am I doing, there is no way he has such an unnatural effect on me I just fucking met him but all my thoughts and doubts were pushed aside when his lips brushed against mine .

I looked up to his eyes again and his anger was long gone now replaced with lust . Lust which also fueled my desire for him .

Releasing his hands from my neck and replacing them with his lips he placed a gently kiss on my Mark .

The feeling of his lips on my skin was indescribable , I was sure if heaven was a feeling it would be like this .

His wet tongue slowly circled around the bruise , the tingles I felt were unimaginable it was as if his touch and kisses were made just for me .
