“Bubba" Scarlett laughed happily as she picked up her baby who was also laughing and playing around in his crib.

"Allow mama to dress you up, we are going to see Alex for the last time before we leave for home, where we truly belong.” Scarlett told Jordan as she took him to the bathroom to bathe him.

Scarlett found that she was slow, she was taking her sweet time bathing Jordan. She might delay but she knew she would have to meet Alex in the end, there was no running away.

Scarlett stepped out of her room when she was done with a fully dressed Jordan the same time Liam was stepping out of his room.

“Where are you going?” Liam asked as he took in her clothes. She was dressed to go out and the same could be said for the chubby Jordan who was playing around in her arms.

“We are going to see, Alex” before he could say anything, she told him, “No matter what, I need to see him and thank him for everything he did for both Jordan and I. I owe him that, I can't just leave town like this.”
