Scarlett lost consciousness due to doctor Lindsay choking her, the pains of having something hot poking different parts of her stomach and all the screaming she did. But before she did that, she made sure to see Jordan, hear his cry and was sure that he was safely in his father's arms before she allowed the darkness that was beckoning onto her to swallow her whole.

When she woke up much later, she was in the familiar room at the werewolves hospital where she spent a few days after Liam nearly made her have a miscarriage. And the nurse's face was also familiar, nurse Annable.
