“Oh no, oh no" Olivia cried as she grabbed her hair that was now a tangled mess around her face.

“What?" Collins asked her

“My father," she shouted, “Why didn't you remind me?"

“Why didn't you remind yourself?" Collins was irritated at her lame attempt to try to push the fact that she immediately forgot about her father when she saw the opportunity to escape.

He has thought long and hard about how to convince her to escape without saving her father. They would not have enough time to do it anyway and they would all be caught. It came off as a surprise albeit a welcoming one when she didn't even say anything about going to save her father.
