Longing.

That's what I felt the moment they stepped out of my unit. I felt like something was taken from me.

"Do you want to follow them?"

When I heard Alice's voice I turned to her.

I am hurting her, I can see that. My unintentional actions caused her pain.

I held her shoulder and locked her gaze with mine. I smiled and shook my head. "This will be the last time I will help Lillian, I promise,"

I cupped her face and planted a soft kiss on her lips. I leaned my forehead on her and closed my eyes.
