Chapter Fifty Four

His shock reaction was short-lived. The emotion in his face is void again, his eyes looking guarded.

Like before, i couldn't seem to read him anymore.

"Tell me what's going on, Lorcan." I demanded. He remained standing before me, i was trying my best to level his gaze. "You forgot to talk using your tongue again?" I questioned him in sarcasm. His jaw clenched, as if he was controlling himself. It made me want to trigger him more. "What's the meaning of that, huh? Speak, Amadeus!" I pushed his shoulder, he didn't even flinch.

"I don't know what you're talking about." His voice is controlled. My mouth parted as i looked at him unbelievably.

"Can you please..." I breathed out, trying to calm myself but failed miserably. "Can you please stop making me stupid here? Just stop because i'm so done with all these craps! I'm tired of being clueless! I just want an explanation! Is it that hard to give?" I burst out.
