“What!!” I gasps, tears flodding my cheeks.
“Please, take everything away not school please.” I plead, clasping my palms together as tears rolls down my cheeks. If he takes that from me I can't graduate, and that means I would forever be useless, and worthless. He leaps over sinking his fingers into my hair, and tugs hard, “Shut your trap or you won't like what follows.” he barks, eyes burning as he glares at me. I yelp the tears refusing to stop as I nod my repeatedly, “Yes Rom–” the words barely left my before he pushes my head, causing me to bang my head on the glass mirror. “Ahhh!!” I cry out, my hand flies up to touch the wounded skin. Thick liquid trickles down my forehead, running down as it mixes with my tears. “Don't you ever use that disgusting lips of yours to call my name. I am master to you, nothing else, understand?” he growls, his chest heaving. “Yes master.” I whimper, pressing myself closer to the door in an attempt to stay far away from him. This is worse. Way worse than what I face with my family. So this is why they gave me out instead of Annie. They wanted me to suffer, my heart aches silently as I let the tears out. What have I done to deserve this? Are they really my family? Why would they leave me to such a cruel fate? The rest of the drive is silent until the car pulls up in a driveway, slowly I raise my head my jaw dropping at the mansion in front of me. It's enormous. I don't think I have ever seen a house this big, and beautiful. The house is huge, painted in white with an entire black roof. The parking lot looks like a ten minutes walk to the front door. “Get your filthy eyes off the building, and make yoursekf useful.” he barks at me, sending a glare my way. “Yes master.” I say swiftly peeling my eyes away from the building before rushing over to him. “Don't.” he barks then presses a remote in his wheelchair, and it starts moving itself. So he could do that, and he let me push him at the church. What a jerk? I really hope I can take this. Please lord help me. I mutter a simple prayer before running after him. * “You bitch!!” Mrs Stone screeches, sending her palm over my cheeks again in less than twenty four hours. I stumble back, tears running down my eyes as I apologise, “I am sorry, please.” I beg, earning another smack. I don't even know what I did wrong. I just walked into the house and this happened. “Sorry for your worthless self.” she barks, running her eyes over me like I don't worth anything near her. Maybe I don't. “Follow me.” my master snaps, moving past me towards the elevator. I follow behind my head lowered as I let out the tears. The house is so huge it has stairs, and elevators right beside each other. It's been barely a day, and I already want to die. I just don't want to live anymore, I am tired. What more is there for me? Absolutely nothing. My life is over. Cold air sweeps into my hair, sending shivers down my spine. My arms automatically wraps around my waist as I try to soothe out the cold. The room is magnificent. There are black couches places beside each other on front of a ten inch TV. Far behind it is a bed so large five people could sleep on it, and not touch each other through out the whole night. “You are to sleep on the floor beside my bed incase I am in need of assistance at night.” he grunts. What!!! On the floor in this cold? I swallowed the words before they came out. I can't afford getting him upset. The best way to get out of this is to be obedient so when he stretches his palm for the AC remote. I dash forward, lifting it for him expecting him to reduce it. But to my greatest surprise he increases the volume. I clamp my lips shut as my body physically trembles from increased cold. He barks at me to help him with his clothes, I quickly pick them out for him. By the time I am down with the list of chores he gave me to do before sleeping it's already midnight, and the room is colder than a fridge. My teeth clatters as I slolwy slide down the cold floors. It's too cold to lay down right now so I just rest my back against the wall. “Ahh!!” a sudden scream leave my throat as something really cold splashes all over my face. My face is pale, my teeth clattering as my body trembles from the cold. It's very dark again. “Get your stupid ass off that place.” Master yells, waking me up from sleep. Ice cold water drips down my hair, forehead everywhere as I literally shake with cold. My fingers are numb as I can barely feel them or even raise them up. “Are you still there? Go get me water from the kitchen immediately.” He growls, a burning gleam in his eyes. There is so much about it. They tell a lot of stories that all seems like nightmares. I scramble off my feet with difficulty, pushing past the gripping cold outside of the room where instant heat flushes my cheeks. “Hello there.” a soft, meek voice calls out halting my step right before the stairs. Slowly I turn around to meet a pair of blue eyes so deep they could suck you in. His hair is blonde dressed in a simple pajamas. A sweet smile spread in his lips as he speaks, “I heard you were coming. I am sorry I couldn't be at the wedding. My sincerest apology.” he mocks me not actuary so ding sorry. It causes a chuckle to ripple through me. “Thank you, it's really no biggie.” I play along, laughing softly. “I am Ethan Stone, and you?” he says, stretching his hand forward. Ethan Stone, the second born of Mr, and Mrs Stone. He is what you call a gentleman, always putting other interests before his or so I have read. “Reena Stone.” I murmur, taking his outstretched arm. “Roman’s bride. You are too gorgeous for him.” he complimented, causing my cheeks to go red. “Stop it.” I laugh, waving my hand as I try to hide my bruises. “Did he do that to you?” Roman asks, a sad look on his face. He steps forward his thumb slightly grazing my cheeks, “I am so sor–” “How dare you slut, it's not even up to twenty four hours, and you are cheating. I should have known.” he barks, riding his chair forward. “It's nothing like that Roman.” His brother tries to explain, but he simply glares at me then turns his chair to leave. I don't know what comes over me, but in desperate need to explain myself I grapes unto his elbow. Wrong move. He jerks his arm away, causing me to stumble. My leg trips over the first step as I go tumbling down. “AHHH!!!”Cold chills run through my bones as I force my eyelids open. My body shudders as cold air ripples through my system, filtering into my skin. My teeth clatter without thinking. I fold up my knees to protect myself from the unending cold. But, nothing seems to stop it. My eyes wander about, trying to find out where I am. The familiar black couch fills my vision alongside black headboard. The cold sipping into my bones feels hard so I jab my elbow at it. Wrong move. Pain sits through my elbow down my spine as my flesh makes contact with the hard tiles. Slowly I push myself up into a sitting position. I am dressed in a shirt that barely covers my thighs, the material is too thin to protect me from the cold as theAC is blasting at a full eighteen. What the hell happened? My head is pounding, the headache splitting through my skull. Vague memories flashed through my head. The argument, his nice brother, and me tumbling down the stairs. I fell down the stairs yet he kept
Thick red liquid trickles down my forehead as a groan of pain leaves my lips. “Ahh, doesn't she look so beautiful?” Annie, my sister, sings out. Her voice filled with clear mockery. I squeeze my eyes tight shut, expecting the next hit. “Aw, does she want her mommy?” She taunts, causing her two minions to laugh. “Please, Annie, just stop.” I pleaded, my voice weak as I tried to gain some strength. My back feels heavy against the cold tiles of the restroom floors. My eyes fall droopily against my top cheek as my body aches in different places. “Why are you doing this?” I wheeze out, tears stinging my eyes, but I refuse to let them drop. Letting her see me cry only adds to her joy. She slowly goes down, reaching my level before wrapping her dainty fingers around my hair in a tight hold. My vision blurs, but I can still make out her honey-coloured hair paired with those lifeless dark black orbs. Annie Christian has the body of a goddess, slender, curved hips, average h
My eyes water as the fire spreads; I gasp and puff, trying to focus my eyes on the chaos in front of me. The road is not so full of people, so there is no one really here to help, and the passerby just takes out their phone to video. A groan leaves my throat as I push my body up into a sitting position and then drag myself fully up. I stagger to the burning car; smoke emits, wafting through my nose down my throat. I crackle through a cough, my breath hangs as I palm my nose in an attempt to stop the smoke from going deeper into my lungs. The car is shut; the airbag bursted as the man behind the wheel slumps over it, hot crimson liquid dropping over his forehead. “Sir, sir, are you okay?” I cough out, banging the door. He raises his head slightly, turning around to face me before groaning. “I can’t feel my legs,” he croaks out before slumping back, losing consciousness again. I wiggle the handle, but it’s locked. The smoke coming from the front of the car increases, a
A hard smack lands on my back, dragging my attention back to my friends. “Ow, what the heck is wrong with you?” I exclaim, glaring hard at Rose for such a prosperous act. “You are zoning out like a zombie; bring your mind back to the present.” She snaps, eyeing me before hissing loudly. Oh, the guts of this girl. “I am not zoning out; I just decided not to participate in the conversation. Can't I be quiet in peace?” I lie through my teeth. I wasn't going to listen to any words that came out of either hers or Rafael’s mouth. I was thinking about a certain man. One who I don't even know his name. “Huh, if you were listening so keenly, tell us what we were talking about.” Rafael had to be the spawn of the devil sent to me this sunny day. I open my mouth to speak, then slam it shut back, knowing fully well that I wasn't paying attention. “Yeah right, close that trash you call a mouth.” Rose sneers, rolling her eyes at me as if I am impossible to deal with. What!!! What the heck are they talking about? Getting married? To whom? Why? When? “How can I get married when I haven't brought anyone to you guys yet?” I play pretend, refusing to believe any word they say. I know they hate me, but this is just so much. I mean, what did I ever do to deserve this? “Do you need to bring someone to us, huh?” Mum sneers, raking her eyes over my body like I am the dirt beneath her feet. “Like someone will ever willingly want anything to do with you.” Annie chips in, using her palms to cover her nose. I shift uncomfortably in my seat, wanting nothing more than the group to open up and swallow me. I don't smell; they are just trying to hurt me. I know this, yet my eyes still burn with tears. “I don't smell.” My voice makes everything worse as I sound so unsure of my words. “Yeah, right!” Shane snorts, rolling his lips between his fingers. I can't bring myself to believe what Mum just said. My what!!!! “Mum, is he really here?” I ask, my lips wobbling as I stare, my eyes almost dropping tears. “What do you mean? Are you that excited to be in my son's life? So desperate that you are shedding tears of joy at the fact that he is here, huh?” A sharp voice pierces the ear. Her voice is so disgusting and cold. It sends chills down not only my spine, but my mother's too. That's a first. “Um... it's rather the opposite.” I grunt, my face scrunching up in sheer disgust. My face whips to the other side as the sound of a snack echoes through the air. She smacked me. Mrs. Stone actually smacked me on our first meeting. My palm flies to my cheeks as I rub it repeatedly because it actually hurt, but I was confused she did it in the first place. If I could get hit on the first day, then I would have signed with the devil's associate. “Such an insolent brat. Is this what you want to give to my child, huh?” She
