We walked like a parade

We walked like a parade. A moment of whispering voices reached the top of the stairs. Candlelight from the room below shone on the marble steps, illuminating our appearance with vivid color. The soft, warm light eased some of my tremors, along with Eric's caution for the chain that held us together.

At the bottom of the stairs, Felipe greeted Eric, “It's good to have you join us, man. I saw his lovely Kitten with me too. Everyone is looking forward to meeting her.”

“Felipe,” Eric greeted. I couldn't help noticing that Eric didn't sound very happy.

Our eyes met over Eric's shoulder, but he didn't whisper about disobeying my orders. In fact, he even winked at me. We just shared another moment together, but my master didn't know. I blushed furiously.

“I think you should know that boy is here with Mr B tonight and will be part of the show,” Felipe added in a whisper, loud enough for me to hear. The statement was somewhat mocking, as if he was making fun of Eric. I do not like it.
