CHAPTER 77

Crystina's POV

"I'm sorry for holding up back when you want to leave. That's my fault. I promise to make it better as soon as possible,"

I held his gaze for a few seconds before I looked away. I don't understand what he meant by that or what was going through his head but for a moment, I decided against asking him.

I wasn't expecting him to go through the troubles of making such an elaborate arrangement for dinner. I’d thought it would be at a regular restaurant and we would discuss one or two issues. I was more than surprised when I came in and saw everything that he had done. I felt special, happy, and at the same time, taken aback. This is the first time such a thing will be happening. Even though I'm glad it did, I'm still a little bit skeptical.

"So, how was your day?" He asked as he pushed his fork through the heap of pasta in front of him. I'd been meaning to ask how on earth he was going to consume the entire meal. He's a wolf, I get it, wolves tend to eat more than humans
