Chapter 26

Avery entered her living room and slumped on the couch. Her waist hurts like hell.

After she broke her waist at the prison, she has not been able to practice her karate again and has not trained for three years. However, when she saw only Abel fighting those men, she was forced to defend herself.

The pain in Avery's back made her think she made a mistake in joining the fight.

The door opened, and Sebastian and Adam rushed inside the living room, each of them sat on her side.

“What happened to you? What were you talking about on the phone?” Sebastian asked.

Avery had called her brothers while she was coming back home. She had already told Tobias to find out who was behind what happened and she was sure to get the results as soon as possible.

“I was attacked, some men were after me,” Avery explained.

“Who are they? Did you find anything?” Adam asked.
