Well, he left and now, I had to deal with my Dad who was already pacing about in my room.

"Are you going to tell me what's wrong?"

I lay on the bed, typing away at my phone. I'd been sending strings of texts to Damon but had gotten no reply. He was still mad at me. Maybe a call could solve all of this. I just had to make my Dad leave early.

I dumped my phone on the bed and sat up. "Fine. So I was reading through the book. The Pack Witch asked me to uhm, use the book as a guide. It lead me out of the house,"

"And you didn't care to inform me?" He asked. "You know how dangerous it is out there, right?"

"I was really careful, Dad," I groaned in an exasperated tone. "I know it's dangerous out there and I know how much you hammer so much on it. But trust me when I tell you. I had it under control. I was safe."
