Chapter 3

Ashley POV

A month has passed since everything happened to me. I'm not fully healed but I know if I can reach that thing too. I don't want to rush myself because it will only make it harder for me. Right now I'm here at the party that my parents say, they can't go because they are both busy with daddy so I have no other choice but to be the representative.

And since it will start later, I decided to go out first, I want to walk around the whole place first. I was about to press the elevator when I felt someone standing next to me and I just couldn't help but recognize who it was. If you really look at it, among the many that can be seen in this place, this is another demon.

"Where are you going?" it asked me.

"What do you care?" I promise.

I heard his soft laugh. "It's been a month but I didn't know you were still so angry with me? Maybe you still love me until now."

"Where did you get the thickness of your face, Kevyn? You should be ashamed of yourself, you are too airy to be out of place. Maybe I loved you back then because I still made you feel good back then, but now? Not anymore. I I'm really stupid because I loved someone like you and that's what I regretted. And since we broke up I realized that you're not a loss because you're worthless." I promised before going inside.

I just continued to walk around the place, I was actually expecting to see Kevyn here because his family was involved in this party, I just didn't think that we would see each other sooner. Until now, my blood is still boiling for him. It's only been a month since we broke up but why doesn't it seem like he's missing? Why is he okay when I'm not? Did he really love me?

After a few hours I decided to go back to my room because I was going to prepare, I was still moving slowly and I didn't want to be late to the party.

When I got to the venue there were a lot of people there. What would you expect? Why is there no one, this is a party. I was about to walk when I heard a voice. "Ashley!"

I looked to the side and saw Camille smiling. "Hi Cams." I greeted her as she approached.

"You're so gorgeous." she promised and kissed me. "Who are you with? Why do you seem to be alone, where is Kevyn?" I lost my smile because of what she asked.

I took a deep breath before looking back at her . "We already broke up." I answered her.

She gasped. "Oh I see, it's a shame! It's been so long for you two, I thought you'd make it to the wedding."

"We can't really say what can happen in our lives. But it's okay, I'm okay." I promised and then she pulled me. She said that I should go with them first because I was alone.

"Look Ash, that's Kevyn, right? Who's with him?" Camille asked me so I followed what she pointed to and saw the dumb man smiling while holding a woman by the waist, I think this is what Drake, his ex, was saying. 

"I don't know? Maybe that's one of his flings." I said.

"She's not pretty though, I didn't know that Kevyn's taste has changed." I laughed because of Camille's comment.

Later, the fool came to us with the woman. "Oh hi Kevyn." Camille greeted him.

"Hi Camille, how are you?" he asked more.

"I'm still pretty, I didn't know you and Ash were already broke up."

"A month ago, but we haven't talked properly, you know that's too bitter."

I looked at him badly. "You're so full with yourself huh? It looks like you're the one who hasn't moved on yet, the poor guy you're with is becoming a cover-up." I promise.

"What the hell!" warm language of the woman.

"Oh sorry for hurting your ego girl." I tease more.

"Shut up Ash! Don't insult him in front of me." Kevyn said angrily.

"Am I? Where is your courage? Maybe there is nothing wrong with what I said, right?" I'm mocking.

"What you say is that you just can't accept that we are gone and that I have someone new."

I laughed and was about to answer when suddenly someone pulled me and kissed me on the cheek. I looked and it was Drake.

"Sorry I'm late babe," he said to me.

I smiled sweetly at him. "It's okay baby." I answered him and turned back to his brother. "What are you saying again Kevyn?" I promise.

"What the hell! What's wrong with you two?" he asked in disbelief.

"What you understand about what you see is what it is." Drake answered.

"I thought you were innocent, but you're not. You're after Kevyn now and his brother? How pathetic." crotch of the woman with Kevuyn.

I looked at him mockingly. "Shouldn't you say that to yourself? Who is pathetic to us? Aren't you and Drake still flirting with Kevyn? Maybe something is going on with you even though you are still in a relationship. What is it called? you? Aren't you ashamed that you took the siblings together? How cheap you are." I promise.

"Ashley stop!" Kevyn said angrily.

"You have no right to yell at him!" Drake said angrily too.

"I can't believe you hit that dumbass." Kevy promised me.

"Why not? I'm single so it's okay. I'm not like you that even though you're still in a relationship there's a woman, I'm not like you that your own sister was beaten and taken away by your girlfriend. You just proved it even more mine that you're not worth it at all." I said and then I turned to the girl with him. "Keep a close eye on your boyfriend because you might be surprised to find another woman with him in the next few days. No relationship lasts long, especially if it's stolen, remember that. Well, you two are a good match, a cheater and a bitch." I added and sat down again.

Annoyed, they both left while Drake was left at our table.

"It's terrible! I can't stand what happened." Camille said and pretended to fan herself with her hand.

"That's what people who think too highly of themselves get. Did they think I was just going to bully them? No freaking way!" I promise.

"Good job girl! You were great earlier. The two were obviously very angry."

"Serves them." I know.

I looked at the person next to me. "What else are you doing here? They're gone." I exclaimed.

He raised an eyebrow at me. "What?"

"Oh com'on! Don't play games with me Drake." I said.

"Let's talk."

"What else should we talk about? As for earlier, I won't be grateful for what you did because I can take care of myself even if you don't come." I promise.

"I'm not saying anything like that, stop being assuming!"

"Whatever!" I snort at him.

"You will come with me and talk or I will drag you." he said smiling.

"Jerk!" I shouted.

"I know baby, I know."
