Chapter 39

White.

That was the first thing I noticed about the strange room. Everything was a blinding white color; from the walls to the floors, even the single school chair and desk in the center. Everything was stark white, I squinted, the doors closing shut behind me as I walked further into the empty room. The fluorescent bulbs cast a bright light around the space, there were no doors, another weird detail, except the one I came in through. Four walls surrounded me, a closed window and what seemed to be a smart TV perched on the wall across me.

The screen suddenly came to life and I jumped in shock, a hand on my racing heart. I blinked as the face of a man came to view, an older-looking wolf with bright ombre eyes and a charming grin on his mouth,

"Number 95?" He asked, tilting his head a bit to the side when I remained gaping, wide-eyed, "Take a seat, dear."

I shut my mouth quickly, taking a hesitant breath as I stalked forward. The smile never left his face, eyes watching every of my move
