His throat bobbed slightly as he swallowed and when he opened his mouth, I held my breath in anticipation.

"Unfortunately, your result won't be announced at the moment." I frowned in confusion, "Don't worry, before the end of the day you'll get to know your status."

"Oh, okay." I forced a smile on my face, playing with the torn cards on the table, "But what do you think?"

His head tilted to the side, a small smile playing on his lips, "What do I think?"

"Yeah, do I have a chance?" My voice was small and hesitant, the expression on his face did not bode well with me.

The silence that followed was unnerving, my fingers twisting anxiously. He shrugged casually, leaning back and resting against his chair,
