Over the next few days, I'd turned into a celebrity of sorts. News of my outstanding performance had reached everyone's ears and I couldn't go anywhere without being looked at or watched. At first, it was easy to ignore them but soon, it became a nuisance.

I couldn't go anywhere without eyes following me, I had to hide behind my hair sometimes, Paige had even changed my usual high ponytail to a wavy hairstyle, making my hair tumble down my shoulders fashionably. It didn't change the situation, I only received even more attention,

"I don't think it's a bad thing."

I gave her a look and she chuckled, her eyes roaming through the several dishes set out on the table.

"I mean, now nobody's calling you a thief or anything. It's like they've totally forgotten about the whole incident."

I scoffed, scooping a small amount of rice onto my plate, "I don't think they have."

She stopped moving and veered around, "You should stop worrying, Dee. You're a sensation here now, enjoy the moment."
