Katrina’s POV

“Are there any dishes to serve the cake in?” Valencia inquired as she put one foot in front of the other and headed to the dining are.

“Ummm,” I dragged out, the wheels in my brain turning but it came up blank. “I don't think there is.”

“No problem then,” Valencia muttered and unveiled what was in her bag that she carried.

“You brought wine?” I questioned in awe, my heart swelling further than I thought it would, and ambled towards where she was.

“Well, we needed something to enjoy the cake with.” She shrugged as she produced another bottle from the bag and my eyes widened further. “Not only wine, but I also brought whiskey.”

“Alchohol, in broad daylight?” I implored in evident surprise at her utterance, Maddy’s reflection mirroring mine as we both observed the situation that unfolded in our faces.

“There is no perfect time to unwind,” Valencia murmured in defense. “Besides I’ve missed alchohol and so this is a perfect excuse for a drink.”

“Hope you have cups?” Valencia

  • Bound to the Alpha’s will   Chapter 91: Apprehension

Katrina’s POVIt was a new day and just as Davos had told me the previous night, he had sent word to the elders for the announcement he was going to make and the argument which was sure to follow it.To say I wasn't apprehensive or nervous would be a lie, hence the butterflies in a tummy were messing with me to the point I felt like they were about to fly out of my throat. My heartbeat too wasn't stable and it messed with me from the moment he kissed my cheek and left me in the room, his smile assuring and confident.I had just gotten out of the bathroom and was getting dressed for the day. Training had just finished and I got back to the room to freshen up. I had eaten though before my bath and so I was getting ready for the day.Next on my schedule was to attend my history classes. I had reduced the day for the classes because of my new task with the florist shop. Maddy was going there soon to open up and sit ready to attend to customers before I came.Brushing my hand through my h

Katrina’s POVValencia had literally dragged me out of that space and of course, she was indeed furious while I for one felt nothing else but embarrassment. She didn't hesitate to scold me for my stupidity of course and I could only remain silent as she did that. It was the truth and to make matters worse, I couldn't catch a bit of the conversation which was going on before I was caught.Mathew didn't help matters as he snickered at the situation playing out and how I was being dragged like a rag doll, not doing anything to help, rather his laughter heightened my embarrassment. As expected, she didn't keep the story to herself and had to get Arianna involved. Well Arianna was the one who got herself involved by being curious as to why Valencia was pulling me behind her the moment she came into the castle. It ended up with Arianna adding her input. I wouldn't lie, she was more considerate than Valencia who only scolded me. It was certain it came from a place of love but Arianna did her

Katrina’s POVEar placed on the wood, I didn't for a moment think I would be caught because staffs rarely roamed the area and nobody comes through that path except invited or called upon through the mind link.I discreetly heed the faint sound of voices and chairs scraping before there was a quiet for about a minute. I didn't need to crack my brain before I knew it was because they were waiting for Davos to come out of his office.“Alpha King,” a low chorus of greeting reached my hearing and I cursed my lack of being a full werewolf hence that prevented me from heeding things clearly and understanding the conversation.Things went quiet again after their acknowledgement of Davos as the Alpha king. Barely moments later, there were hushed murmurings and in a bid to get a good understanding of what was going on, I shuffled, my feet taking me to the door handle. My face met the cold metal, and I squinted my eyes as if that would help me in any way to sharpen my ears. Katrina’s POVWhile attending to Eleanor, I was surprised she had asked about Valencia. It then clicked that Valencia must have been the one to refer her to me and it clicked. They both had the same elegant and classy aura with a straight way of speaking and mode of dressing. It wouldn't by any means shock me if I found out later they were more than acquaintances, maybe friends or even related in some way.I spent a bit of time with Eleanor as she purchased what she had in mind and the more seconds ticked by, it turned out my notion may have been right. After she had left I had another inflow of customers and Maddy and I ended up being busy half of the day. Valencia had suggested before, I should open a social media account, and that she and Arianna would show me the ropes.I already had a social media account where I used to view videos and content concerning all that was going on in the world. However I didn't know the dynamics on how to handle it by creating content and putting my

He stole my breath away and every inch of my body reacted to his touch and the movement of his mouth on mine.I moaned as his tongue clashed with mine and they danced in a sensual dance of desire as the joy mixed with lust. His fingers roamed every inch of my body and soon food was forgotten. He tossed me on his king-sized bed, getting rid of my clothes and spread my legs wide enough to have his head buried between my thighs. My fingers skid into his hair, enjoying the softness of them as he did a good job at eating me out.I was a sweating, moaning mess by the time he was done, my first orgasm of the night dripping out of my feminity. I had lost consciousness after drinking the blood of the king as well as the elders mixed together. However Davos’s presence and hold was enough to steady me. Neither of us saw the next tremor that was coming which knocked me off my feet and shut me out to the world. The next thing I knew I woke up in Davos’s chamber which had become the King and Queen’s abode, it was sometime in the evening and it was clear I had been off for about a day, only for my suspiciouns to be confirmed when Davos approached. To my surprise I was told I had become a Lycan. • Bound to the Alpha’s will   Chapter 163: The Real Prophecy

Katrina’s POVAs we gathered around the frayed scroll, its mysterious lettering flashing in the faint torchlight, the atmosphere was heavy with suspense. Every time my heart beat, it served as a harsh reminder of how much depended on us. We had arrived to the deserted Lycan ruins, a location lost to time, thanks to the mystery. I felt the old carvings under my fingertips as I moved them over the stone walls. Relics from the past. Back when werewolves and lycans weren't adversaries. When they were one, that is. Shaun was standing next to me, looking over the ruins with amber eyes. "This place gives me a bad feeling." Mira let out a loud sigh. "Whether you like it or not, this is where the puzzle took us. Here is the solution. I looked to a big archway at the far end of the room and nodded. Beyond it, the blackness went on forever. I got a weird feeling that we were closer than ever before, like a weight pressing down on my chest. "We move together," I murmured while holding onto m

  • Bound to the Alpha’s will   Chapter 162: A Fight Against Herself

Katrina's POVThe air shifted around me, thick like a heavy mist, pulling me under. My body no longer felt like my own. The world faded, the ground dissolving beneath me until I was floating in an endless void. I wasn’t sure how I got here—one moment, I had been gripping the scroll the temple guardian had given me, reading its cryptic words, and the next, everything had gone dark. I took a slow breath, steadying my nerves. This was part of the trial. I had known there would be one. The moment I touched the scroll, I felt something pull at me, dragging me into a place beyond the physical world. But I hadn’t expected it to feel so... real. A soft whisper echoed through the void, a voice both foreign and familiar. "You're not prepared." I spun, searching for the source, but there was only darkness. Then, out of nowhere, a figure stepped forward. My breath caught. It was me. Or rather, it was a version of me—one twisted, darker. Her eyes blazed an unnatural red, her lips twisted

  • Bound to the Alpha’s will   Chapter 161: The Ancients' Sacred Blade

Katrina's POV The icy frost seeped into my bones as the wind howled across the rocky summits. As we ascended more into the mountains, I felt the weight of our mission bearing down on me with each step. The faces of the slain flashed before my eyes, and the remains of the previous fight still troubled me. There was no time to mourn, but we had just about made it out alive. Shaun walked purposefully in front of me, his golden eyes searching the way. The cold air made Mira's breath haze as she walked next to me. We all remained silent. All we could hear were the distant howling of wolves borne by the wind and the crunch of snow under our feet. The temple was near. I sensed it. Legends about a secret temple tucked away in these mountains, unaffected by time or conflict, have persisted for ages. An ancient order of werewolves, warriors pledged to defend a holy weapon—the sole sword that might finally put an end to The Crimson Alpha—were supposed to guard it. However, getting there woul

  • Bound to the Alpha’s will   Chapter 160: The True Origin Of TheCrimson Alpha

Katrina’s POV The world continued to rotate. For a minute, I believed I had lost everything as darkness engulfed me. As I pushed myself to walk, I gasped for air in ragged breaths. The air was still heavy enough to choke on with the stench of decaying dead and burning flesh. They had lost the fight. We had had to back off, almost making it out alive. We had been teasing the Crimson Alpha. Now that much was obvious. Beside me, Shaun moaned and clutched his side, his fingers dripping blood. Mira was so tired that her body was shaking and her face looked pallid. We weren't dead, but we were shattered and bruised. Something has to count for that. I took a deep breath and looked around the remains of the former enemy stronghold. It had long ago been wrecked by the battle, and all that was left was eerie quiet and crumbling stone. It was our lone haven of safety and a place to rest before confronting the next nightmare. I had just risen to my feet when I became aware of the wall marks

  • Bound to the Alpha’s will   Chapter 159: The Crimson Alpha’s Forbidden Power

Katrina's POVThe air was still pulsing with the black energy, dense and oppressive. My limbs shook as I forced myself to get up, my body hurting from the blow. I could still hear the Crimson Alpha's low, mocking voice. "Do you really believe that this will be that simple?" I pumped oxygen into my lungs by clenching my fists. Around me, the battlefield was in flames. It was a sickening, suffocating smell of death, fire, and blood. The zombies weren't stopping, which was the worst part. The enchantment that held them together would not allow them to rest, and they continued to rise. It wasn't normal. False. Shaun landed next to me, gasping for air. His golden eyes were searching the battlefield in despair, his mouth clamped hard. He snarled, "We need to figure out how to stop this." Mira just avoided a zombie warrior's sword before skidding to a halt beside us. "He's getting stronger—that blast." He is consuming them. off their demises. My eyes returned to The Crimson Alpha. Katrina’s POVMy bones were cold by the laughter. That voice seemed familiar to me. Heavy, ancient and wrong. The Alpha Crimson. As his enormous figure rose out of the smoke, the flickering firelight created unsettling shadows. His presence was oppressive, and his crimson eyes burned. Mira's face was pallid when she stumbled next to me. "No." Shaun gripped his sword tighter. "He ought not to be present." However, he was. And he wasn't by himself. The earth trembled. Dark energy surged across the air, frigid and inhuman. As the battleground evolved, the wind howled. The first hand then exploded from the earth. decaying. Clawed. alive. I became cold. An additional hand. A corpse emerging from the ground. Then another. And yet another. Until the dead crowded the battlefield. We had lost our fighters. Those who had given their lives for us. Katrina’s POVSharp, constant pain throbbed in my ribs, but I made myself sit up. With bodies moving, weapons clashing, and the smell of blood heavy in the air, the battlefield remained a blur. "She must."Because we would all fail if she did.The night was thick with tension and pressed against my skin.Somewhere out there, Mira and her crew were sneaking through the enemy's fortifications, moving like ghosts in the dark. Katrina's POVThere was chaos on the battlefield. The air was filled with the sound of warriors shouting, bones shattering, and metal clashing. The smell of blood permeated the moist ground under our boots. Everything was going too quickly. I was standing in front of The Crimson Alpha one moment. The next, we were surrounded by war. My troops and his collided. From the woods came the Shadow Cult, their swords harsh and keen, their cloaks moving like liquid shadows. And among it all—Lycans, untamed and unmanageable, destroying everything in their path. Beside me, Shaun was engaged in combat, slaying warriors as they surged at him with his sword, which flashed in the moonlight. Like a ghost, Mira maneuvered between adversaries, striking in unexpected places. Then there was me. I had changed. I felt it in each motion and blow. My strength was unparalleled, and my body was quicker. I was able to sense everything, even the changes in the wind, the movement of the trees, and the blo
