Two hearts

Leo knocked on the door when was openwtafter few minutes revealing Sara on the other side.

"Oh, I was not expecting you."

She moved to a side to give him way while Leo entered inside. He looked at her face. It seemed like she was crying before she came. Also, her cheek was swollen.

"I was just about to leave."

She tried to smile and Leo noticed she was not speaking properly. All her stuff was already packed indicating she was leaving forever.

"Are you permanently leaving?"

"Hm." She hummed softly.

"I apologize for Danny."

"No, it's alright."

"Aren't you going to talk to him?"

He questioned her who shook her head slowly.

"Are you scared?"

He alse her while Sara stared at him in shock.

"Sit down."

He motioned her to sit and opened the bag he had. He had an ice pack inside which he took and put against her cheek.

"My mother....

She was a victim of abuse. My father would beat her everyday for small reasons and she bear everything silently."

She smiled but her eyes filled with tears
