A story of strange love finale

Samuel sat back while Gaura was still holding his wrist. Seeing him sitting back, Gaura confusingly looked at him.

"Aren't you going?"

"You are holding my hand. How can I go?"

"Just pull it. I won't hold onto it forever."

"I am not that strong." Samuel smiled painfully.

Gaura stared at him and then slowly tried to free his hand but Samuel put his hand over her's.

"Don't leave my hand." He begged her while Gaura looked blank.

She looked in his eyes and smiled brightly for the first time in last six months. She tightened her grip on his hand who got the idea what she decided.

Samuel felt relieved like a heavy weight moved from his chest. He pulled Gaura against his chest and hugged her tightly.

Ronnie looked at his watch and then at entrance. Gaura was nowhere to be found. He got up and picked his stuff. He knew she will never come. He already lost her when he decided to leave her at the alter.

"I am sorry."

He whispered as a tear rolled down his cheek.
