Ariella's POV

It seemed like it had been a long time since we last met, and there was a fleeting look of longing in his eyes before he quickly hid it.

He glanced at the suit on me, slightly furrowed his brow, and then gave Parker a meaningful look. I turned to look at Parker, who cleared his throat and, saying nothing, went to assist Matthew in removing his coat.

I took off Parker's coat and handed it to the waiter.

"I apologize for being late," he said politely to the other guests.

"Alpha Matthew, please take a seat," the guests said, standing up and bowing slightly to him as he entered.

Matthew sat at the center of the table, with Camilla and Parker on his left and right respectively, and I was seated next to Camilla.

After all, Camilla and I were there to represent the hospital. Everyone knew that we were there to get close to Matthew and secure the partnership, so no one said anything.

"Miss Beverley, I heard you're an intern at Bayside Hospital, is that correct?" the man beside m
