Chapter 27

Matthew's POV

We changed positions several times. In the end, we both reached climax, exhausted and spent. She supported herself against the glass, turning her head to look at me. Her eyes were glistening with a hint of tears, shimmering in the moonlight, looking absolutely beautiful.

"Darling, I love you," I said, embracing her and kissing her tenderly.

Then, I gently placed her on the leather sofa and took care of her, making sure she was cleaned up.

She quickly got dressed, the flush on her face fading away. She looked clean and beautiful, like an innocent and enchanting fairy.

Although my desire was not entirely sated, I had to suppress it, knowing that this was a restaurant's private room.

"Ella, I'll have the driver take you back. I need to see Parker," I said.

I wrapped my arm around her waist and we started walking out.

"Mm," she nodded, "Thank you, Alpha Matthew."

She was always so formal with me, something that bothered me a bit, but there was nothing I could do about it.
