Mr.Charles vinyl Blazzer

It been exactly three weeks since she started working at Blazzer, she found the work rather very under demanding or so she thought.

It was a normal day at work just like every other day . Tyler had asked her to get a particular file which she could only find in Mr Charles office .She had accidentally dropped some files and had bent with both of her knees on the ground struggling to get them together, even though she had made no progress in finding what she was there for . Still struggling to assemble the papers which she had managed to rain all over the place as she noticed the entrance to the office had been opened and the mysterious Charles Blazzer wasn’t such a mystery anymore. He was standing there in flesh and blood .He must have noticed her in an uncanny position in the office.

He immediately bid goodbye to whoever was on the other side of the phone , as he appeared to be on a call.

‘’Who…who are you?

And… what are you doing here ?’’he asked with a confused expression .

‘’The new assistant.’’ She said . Though it was quite clear she was to be his assistant , she still wasn’t comfortable using the ‘your’ prefix.

‘’What? Who..who hired you?

The man spoke with so much ease,ut yet felt like he was screaming at her . She found the situation very awkward and embarrassing as sh was struggling to produce human sounds from her voice box. She wasn’t quite sure about the situation tat intimidated her, his questions or because of how intimidating his whole presence was. He seemed tall, and the fact that she was looking at him from all the way down there he seemed to appear quite godly . She oticed he had coal black hair , nicely tanned hskin , full well arched brows that aligned just above his light blue eyes .His lips as pink as ever and his cheek bone could slay a dragon only if he tried . His presence definitely sent waves to anyone around and she was no exception .Oh now she perfectly understood those ladies that preached all manner of goodness about him.

Still kneeling with some papers on her hand , she managed to regain her speech.

‘’Tyler,’’

‘’What?’’ He asked .

‘’Tyler hired you?’’

He looked like he was surprised to have an assistant.

He let out a heavy sigh efore speaking .

Whatever it is you are doing , you can just leave it and…..

Go.

Kneeling in her bosses office didn’t look very appropriate bt she didt think it warranted any form of outburst , she tried npicking up the papers to properly place them as found before he intrupted,

Please!......

Just Go.

He then quickly ran is hand over his head as she now walked towards the inter connecting door that lead to Tyler’s office.

Miss, please ! the main door.

He still stood in the position she had first sighted him as she walked past him , noticing the scent of his very masculine perfume which the wole universe could agree wasn’t quite the time to nitice things like scents .She noticed hoe her palm had suddenly become sweaty was he always like this?

Charles was abit upset because Tyler of all people knew not to let soe he had never met before ransark his office.

He had clearly stated how he wanted someone different , someone completely different from his previous assistant .Thelma was great at her job, she was the previous assistant , an ideal assistantknew what to do at every point until it fell apart. She had fallen inlove with him , he was sure she was a sweet girl , one a lot of men would pay a price to get but he never imagined being romantic towards her or maybe other of his employee, was not something he held sacred , just something he never thought about was his thing .He realized the only thing he had to bother about right now was the new one.

He had only been away for a couple of months and a random girl was already feeling at home so comfortably in his office and going through files . It was no good way to welcome him from a trip he had hoped was for the betterment of the company and all its staff.

‘’Hey man’’

Tyler said as he walked in the office .

‘’I wasn’t expecting you today. ‘’He said as he made his way into Charles office , sitting o his table just adjacent to his chair.

Charles seemed not be in the mood for a welcoming pleasantry as he made no remark regarding what Tyler had just said.

‘’Who is the girl?’’

‘’Who?’ ’Tyler asked with a confused expression.

‘’Last I checked I still like boys . He proceeded to add . The new girl, my new a…… the new assistant.’’

‘’Oh, Alicia? Your new assistant! She’s amazing , You are gonna love her.’’

‘’Maybe, maybe not, but I wanted someone different, someone matured , or atleast different from Thelma. Now it looks like we have another Thelma , but in a different shade.’’

Tyler stood from the table , moved away from I’m as he reached for the arm office chair across Charles helping himself with it.

‘’Look man , she is different.’’

‘’How?’’ Charles asked with curiosity written allover his face .

‘’How is she different, she might be the same age as Thelma if not younger ….’’

‘’Look ,I want someone older , someone who would concentrate on making the company greater instead of trying to make me happy .’’

Tyler now raised his legs off the ground , dropping it on the table before speaking.

‘’You asked for someone different , I had to get to the ends of the earth to get the perfect one for you, You ungrateful cousin!’’

Tyler spoke with a dramatic exaggerated tone.

Charles made a confused facial expression which was accompanied with a hand gesture that simply implied the question what? how? what are you talking about?

‘’She is African.’’ Tyler added.

Yes Charles had asked for someone different but he sure wasn’t talking about hiring someone all the way from Africa to come work as an assistant .

‘’What?’’

He spoke in a trilled tone.

‘’I know you must have been an asshole to her but giv her a chance , you are gonna like her , she dedicated to the job.’’

‘’I don’t know about all that. I just know I don’t want her crawling around here or tampering with things that don’t concern her.’’

‘’Anyway , she will be on three months probation , if she is able to abide by y rules , then maybe she will stay.’’

‘’Alright man , whatever you say. I believe in her.’’

Tyler stood from the chair , as he fixed his clothes which seemed to be disoriented fro his sitting.

‘’Right now I need to leave your mean ass alone.’’ He then proceeded to leave.

Charles and Tyler have been best friends since they were youn . Charles mother was Tyler’s aunty and sister to his mum. She assed when he was about twelve , leaving him and just his dad .Till one morning his dad decided to move to mexico insearch of a nw friend and happiness. Tyler’s parant had a greed that it wasn’t the best thing for the young Charles who was only seventeen at the time but fortunately for young Charles he had been admitted to university of Columbia.

Charles recognized how much he needed Tyler in his life. He was his best friend and he knew how uch Tyler cared for him and the company .How his parent had welcomed him into their home and never made im feel unwanted or alone.He elped him run his company and kept his staff in check . Even though he appeared too jovial but wasn’t that lenient when it got to office decisions.

Tyler ad left him alone, he was sitting across his office desk hoping the new girl would meet up with the standard Tyler had placed her. His mind now wondered in the good old days with Thelma .She was on of the best he ever had , she made everything easier, she helped close deals . He never actually tld her how god she was at the job or stopped her from leaving when she decided to.

Hewasn’t the type that showed emotions or begged for anything. Matter of fact he was always at the receiving side when it came to those attributes .And his only plans was to keep it that way. He always had had his way and no one denied him of whatever he laid claim as his. Its just the way its been and the way it should be.

His mind had gone back to his recent problem . Blazzer was still dropping in ranking in recent ratings. Blazzer was now among top thrity electronic company according to g****e. It seemed they had rapidly depreciated under a period of one year , as they were at the top ten the previous year.

No to menton the recent list put together by Forbes on top house appliances , which over the years , they had topped the list year after year, but shockily Blazzer had been named forth on the list this year .He knew it probably had something to do with the recent increasing purchase of Chinese appliances and how other companies would rather be cst effective with poor quality.But the Chinese market had always been there, so what suddenly changed ? They had discharged some of the companys marketing agants which with proper investigation, it was noticed they had been lenient with their jobs or involved in fraudulent activities.

He planned to regain his position this year and he was determined on achieving that .

Now as if all that wasn’t enough this year and he was determined on achieving that.

Atleast he hoped she knew how to speak clear and understandable English. He sure wont be hitting a atranslator for her . Recurring how she didn’t say much during their encounter , he wondered if it was due to be her inability speak English.

Alicia collapsed into her office chair as soon as she arrived work the next day . She wore office suitable cloths which she made sure hisd all her curves. Sice her boss was officially back and she didn’t want to be seen as her dressing was inappropriate .

She had checked for his appointments , made all the necessary arrangement for the day before she got an official letter from her boss , yes Charles Vinyl Blazzer. The heading which said ‘’letter of probation. ‘’ must be cool to be able to answer both of your fathers surname me and your mothers .Lin had mentioned Vinylbeing his father’s name and Blazzer being his mothers name. Also saying that fortunately for him, before his mums passing , she had willed everything to him.

She had carefully read through the letter which said she was being hired on temporarily basis and would only be reviewed if she was able to prove worthy of serving him by meeting up with what he required of her.

You will prove self worthy of working in Blazzer if all this requirements are met.

You can never step into my office if you weren’t asked specifically by Mr Charles.

You shall knock atleast twice before stepping into Mr Charless office should you be needing his attention .

You shall never leave your work place if Mr Charles was still on seat.

You shall be disposed and available at all times should he be needing your assistance.

You shall provide Mr Charles with a caramel macchiato flavoured coffee one hour after his arrival.

You cannot have any sort of intimacy with a staff of this organization or bring a lover to work.

You can only show your face when Mr. Charles has ‘a not work related guest of the opposite sex’ except when called upon.’

You shall be diligent with your duties and do things without being asked as long as you take due approval from Me Charles.

As it goes on….

Alicia sat across her office laptop gazing at the long list of unending demands she was obligated to meet . She didn’t really have issues keeping to them except the one number sixteen.

You can never object to any request or decision made by Mr Charles .

Any request?

She had prepared all his appointments , scheduled all meetings , pretty much all pending request except the ones she was to carry out when he has arrived . It was fifteen past Ten when he arrived at work , he had moved straight to his office without saying a word even though she attempted greeting him. Twice She ordered a cup of coffee as he requested knocked twice before making her way into his office .He was seated across his office desk as he had a en just by te corner of his lips.

She hoped it wasn’t too weird that she noticed the picks nature of his lips or how his hair slightly fell to one side of his face as his outlined cheek bones sent a wave of danger to her .And yes to top it all he had his shirt bottomed Down as you could see his chestal hairs.

She was sure most people took note of his very obvious features or maybe she was trying to convince herself that most people did .For someone with avisual stopping power like him, he sure was used t people fascinating over him.

She tried to convince herself that her lust over this man her boss was not based on anything inappropriate but mere appreciation of the wonders of God could just perform in a man’s looks

‘’Are you gonna drop that or just stand there and stare ?’’

Alicia flinched on hearing his voice , She was brought back to the now as she almost spilled the coffee.
