The Threat

Amber stormed into the room following behind him, her face covered with astonishment. Liam turned to look at her, trying to mask his emotions.

“Are you crazy? I know Kyla wanted to take the kids, but how could you just let her go? Weren't you supposed to convince her to stay?” Amber asked, looking at her brother in disbelief.

Liam shrugged his shoulders, understanding his sister's frustration.

“Amber, she wanted to leave, and she still hasn't forgiven me, but not to worry we're going after them,” he explained, smiling slightly.

Amber's eyes widened in realization. “Did you put a tracker on them? Li, are you crazy!” She asked, looking at him in shock.

Liam shook his head, “no they're going to New York, of course they'll stay at Vane's residence.”

“What are you saying Li, you want us to go to New York?” Amber asked, looking at him, her eyes searching his face for any signs he was pulling her leg.

“Yes, I think it's high time we go see dad too, Amber don't you think so, it's been long
