Kyla blinked, shock covering her face as she pulled him out of the room with her. She could never even in her wildest dreams thought Liam would be so insensitive.

“Now, listen here, Liam, we came to New York only for work not family drama, why do you want to see my kids suffer?” Kyla asked, hurt evident in her eyes.

Liam studied her like a hawk before cocking his brow on her.

“You know, for someone who kept my kids a secret from me, you sure are courageous to think you can order me around,” he said, scorn evident in his voice.

The bitterness of having missed out on the twins' life lingered in his heart.

“The kids are coming with me Kyla, do you remember a certain document you signed years ago? While you were still pregnant?” Liam jogged her mind watching as her eyes grew wide.

Kyla felt her heart race at his callousness as she remembered the incident from her aunt's years back.

“I can't let my kids anywhere near your wife, and you know it,” Kyla said, not sure what else to say.
