Sienna cried her heart out on Kim's shoulder. She was only 23 and already pregnant, but her age wasn't what scared her. Sienna could not afford to raise a baby, her family barely survived through the month, and their house was in no condition for an infant. She would have to stop working for a few months, which meant no income... and the billionaire's money wouldn't last forever.
Sienna didn't want to bring the baby up in a life where she or he would struggle. Plus, she wasn't mentally prepared to be a mother and keeping the baby meant that she would raise it alone. She would have no help from the billionaire... heck, he wouldn't even know he was a father. All she knew was his name, and by now, he was probably back in South Africa. There was no way Sienna could get in touch with him, nor did she want to.
"Okay... uhm, we marry you as soon as possible, so at least then you'll have a husband," Kim suggested.
"That would be unfair to the man I marry. Plus, the billionaire had blonde hair and blue eyes... how do I explain that if the baby has the same features?" Sienna shook her head. She and Kim had been brainstorming ideas on what to do.
"Shit! True, uhm... well, we have 3 options. You keep the baby, give it up for adoption, or I'm sorry to say this, but have an abortion."
"Kim, I don't even have money to go to the hospital to give birth."
"Girl, you have a lot of thinking to do. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you need to make a decision and quickly. You fell pregnant 3 weeks ago... and a babies heartbeat develops at 5 weeks. If you choose to have an abortion, I suggest soon before it develops further."
"What would you do?" Sienna asked and looked at her friend for an answer.
"I can't answer that. You need to decide on your own, but I'll support you no matter what. If you choose to keep the baby, then we can raise it together." Kim smiled.
Sienna nodded and gave her friend a hug. Kim was a true friend, but Sienna would feel too guilty if Kim helped her raise the baby. She wouldn't put her responsibility onto another person, which was why adoption was out of the picture.
Sienna stuffed the pregnancy tests at the bottom of her bag to keep them hidden and left Kim's apartment heartbroken. She at least stopped crying and walked home, where she pretended everything was still good. She would be such a great disappointment if her parents found out she was pregnant before marriage, and things had just started to get better.
"Mom, how did you know Dad was the one?" Sienna asked as she washed the dishes. Her mom sat at the table sorting through documents that stated how much debt they had. Her Dad had already turned in for the night, and Hanuel was still at the hospital.
"Oh, well, he was kind to me and looked after me without expecting anything in return. Your father has a good heart which is how I fell in love with him. After we had you, I knew that the heavens had put us together. I guess when you meet the right person... you just kind of know."
"Okay."
"Why do you ask, my daughter? Have you met a man?" Her mom inquired with a hopeful smile.
"No, no... nothing like that." Sienna quickly replied, embarrassed. She felt her cheeks were on fire as she started blushing and kept her head down so her mom wouldn't see.
"Don't worry, love will come to you. You're only 23 and have a life full of great potential ahead of you." Her mom added with a yawn. She then kissed her daughter on the cheek and went to bed, leaving Sienna alone with her thoughts.
Potential... with a baby? Her life felt like it had come to a standstill. All of her hopes of working hard and eventually finding love had come to an end. If she kept the baby, then who would take care of the baby while she was at work? Both her parents could barely move around on their own, and Kim also worked. Who would want to be with a woman who has a child from another man? Yes, it did happen, but only lucky women found someone to love them and their babies. Sienna wasn't lucky, and she was not remarkable. She was a nobody.
The next morning Sienna left the house early to go shopping before work. She spent the whole night tossing and turning. She didn't sleep and thought about what she wanted to do; eventually, she came to the brutal truth and realised she didn't even want to be a mother. The thought hadn't even crossed her mind before. Yeah, maybe one day she'll have children, but first, she wanted to be earning enough money and find a good husband. Sienna decided she had made up her mind. She would save her own life and not let the baby suffer, so after one night, she decided the best option was an abortion.
Luckily, North Korea made abortions legal this year so she wouldn't have any problems. Sienna knew that the decision was made quickly, but she didn't want to wait any longer and risk the chance of changing her mind.
She walked into the busy streets of the shopping centre and watched as everyone set us business for the day. She walked past a clothing store where they had a set of black underwear on display, which made her remember what the billionaire said.
"... buy new underwear. Black preferably."
Sienna found that she walked into the store and touched the fabric of the underwear. It was soft and felt fragile against her fingers.
"It would look good on you." A kind lady stated and smiled at Sienna. The lady grabbed a pair for herself and walked off towards the changing rooms.
She grabbed her size, found a matching bra, then paid for the items and left. Sienna's heart was beating rapidly as she gripped onto the bag where the underwear was in. Why did she buy this? Why did she care about what the billionaire thought? She wasn't ever going to see him again... yet she found herself still drawn to him.
She walked past the abortion clinic, and after passing it about 5 times, she gained the strength to go inside.
"Hello Miss, how can I help you?" A nurse asked at the front desk.
"I... want to have an abortion." Sienna softly replied and looked away from the nurse.
"Okay, Miss. Fill in this paperwork so long. We are fully booked but have an opening for the day after tomorrow at 10am. Is that fine with you?"
Sienna nodded and went to sit down in the waiting room to fill out the documents. She filled in her personal information and moved on to the questions.
Night of unprotected intercourse: 6 November 2018
Identification of father: Not known
Please mark how the pregnancy occurred: Work-related, recreational, non-consensual assault such as rape.
Tears sprang to Sienna's eyes as she read over the question. She had been given money in return for sex... so work-related was the true answer. Yet, instead, she ticked the last option as it would cause less judgement and quickly finished up the paperwork. She handed the nurse the papers and hurried out of the clinic.
She ran into a man outside who lost his balance.
"I'm so sorry," Sienna said through tears and looked down at the man. He had on an oversized brown coat and dyed his hair silver which made his light brown eyes stand out.
"Miss..." He started to say, but Sienna walked off. She cried and couldn't believe that she was actually going to kill her baby.

Later that night, Sienna tried on the underwear she purchased and stared at herself in the mirror. Her hand held onto the cufflink as her other hand touched her stomach. She hated that she still thought of the billionaire and wished she had never taken his deal. Why didn't the bastard wear a condom or at least pull-out?
She sunk to the floor and cuddled her own body.
"I'm sorry. I wish I could be a good mother to you..." Sienna cried and whispered to herself as if the baby could hear.

"Miss Chae-Soo? The doctor will see you now." The nurse called. Sienna looked up and squeezed Kim's hand, who came with to give her support. Today was the day of the abortion.
"Good luck, girl! Stay strong." Kim encouragingly smiled as her friend stood up.
Sienna walked into the doctor's office, and the nurse placed her documents on the table before walking out.
"Hello, I'm doctor Krystal." The doctor greeted, and Sienna was thankful it was a woman. "I know this is a big decision, but I'm here to help you all the way, so no need to be afraid. I'll start by giving you an ultrasound. This will make 100% sure that you are pregnant and tell us exactly how far into the pregnancy you are." The doctor explained and showed Sienna over to an examination table.
"Is this your first pregnancy?" The doctor asked, and Sienna nodded. The doctor then helped her lay down and asked Sienna to lift her shirt; luckily, Sienna chose to wear a loose shirt and skirt for the appointment. The doctor proceeded to rub a cold jelly-like substance onto her lower stomach and switched on the ultrasound machine.
A scan of her uterus showed up on the screen as the doctor pressed an instrument against her stomach. Sienna watched the screen and tried to understand what she was seeing.
The doctor pointed to a small bean-shaped object on the screen and smiled.
"That's the baby." The doctor stated, and tears rolled down Sienna's face. She couldn't force herself to look away and felt mesmerised by the little bean growing inside of her. After seeing the baby, Sienna's heart overtook her mind, and she realised she was doing the wrong thing.
"It's just over 3 weeks old and appears healthy." The doctor added. She wiped away the jelly and handed Sienna a tissue as she cried. "I know this is a tough decision, but you need to do what's best for both you and the baby." The doctor remarked and then asked, "Are you sure you want to proceed with this abortion?"
Sienna was about to reply when the door flew open and slammed against the wall. The sound gave her a small fright, and she looked towards the door to see who had barged in. Her heart started racing as she recognised the man. How was he here?
Billionaire Declan Foster stormed into the doctor's office with his blood boiling. He didn't care who tried to stop him, but he needed to stop the waitress before it was too late.
"You will not kill my baby!" He barked and marched over to Sienna, who started shaking from the sound of his loud voice.
"Sir, this is a private establishment. I must insist you leave." The doctor firmly said.
"Not without her, I won't." The billionaire hissed and made his way over to the bed.
"Who are you, sir?"
"The father of this unborn child." He aggressively replied and grabbed onto Sienna's wrist. He also took the documents on the table and stormed out of the clinic while dragging Sienna with him.
"Sienna!" Kim shouted and ran after them.
"I'm okay!" Sienna yelled back to her friend before Declan shoved her into a car. He stormed around to the other side and climbed into the back with her. The driver started the engine and drove off, and Sienna gulped as she looked over at Declan, who was breathing heavily. He didn't look happy to see her.
2 days earlier Declan Foster walked into his newly established firm late that afternoon after a day of travelling. He was exhausted and irritable. He checked his personal phone for any messages from the private investigator he hired back in Samjiyon, North Korea. He, too, was a werewolf which made Declan sense that he could trust the investigator. Nothing yet, which was a good sign. He walked into his office and poured himself a glass of whiskey, which he quickly downed. His business phone started ringing, and he was straight back at work dealing with investors and companies from around the world. FosterA was a company aimed at providing reliable internet and communications to all people around the world. He focused on connecting poor areas to the rest of the world. The company had subdivisions such as education, legal services, and anything related to information technology infrastructure (IT). Declan was part of
“Mr Foster, here are all the documents of the waitress that you require.” The private investigator stated and handed him an envelope. They had travelled to the hotel where Sienna worked, and the billionaire waited in the restaurant for her arrival. The private investigator proved to be a valuable source of information and arranged for Miss Chae-Soo to leave the country with all legal documents. “Thank you, Aaron.” Declan nodded and read over the documents Sienna filled in for the abortion clinic. He was surprised to discover the waitress was only 23, 16 years younger than him. Declan was already 39, but most people assume he was in his late twenties because of how well he looked after himself. Her birthday was on 13 January 1995, which meant she was born on Friday the 13th. Declan didn’t believe in supernatural events such as that, but he hoped the waitress wouldn’t bring bad luck in his life. He had gone through enough misery
Sienna shoved the billionaire off her and quickly ducked into the bathroom. She closed the door and locked it before Declan could react, which forced him to return to his seat. Sienna felt her heart racing as she stared at her reflection in the mirror. She wet her face with water and tried to understand why she kissed the enemy. “Get a hold of yourself.” She said aloud to herself and returned to her seat after using the toilet. Declan watched the waitress walk back down the aisle and sit down. He couldn’t understand why every part of him wanted to hate her when in reality, he found himself growing attached to her. He decided it was best that moments like the kiss they shared did not happen and fell back into silence. The private investigator tried to talk to either of them, but they weren’t interested. Eventually, the flat table mountain of his city and vast blue ocean came into view as they flew into Cape Town. Aa
Declan scanned his eyes over the waitress and found himself annoyed. He had work to do, and she complained because she was bored. He rolled his eyes and grabbed a file off his shelf, then handed it to her. “These are complaints that I received for the company. Kian printed them all out for me to go through, but honestly, I don’t care nor have the time. Read over them and see if there’s anything important or worth my time.” He said and returned to his desk to continue working on his employee’s salary. “Okay,” Sienna replied and placed her stuff on one of the chairs in front of his desk and sat on the other. Declan glanced at her and shook his head. He expected her to leave, but she could sit here if she was quiet. He went back to work, and Sienna started reading over the complaints. Many were about things he couldn’t control like staff complaints, slow internet during bad weather, being put on hold and issues not be
The three of them ate in silence and listened to music. It was awkward for Aaron to be in their presence when they were together, but both seemed friendly when alone with him. He finished up the delicious food and then excused himself. “Hello, this is Mr Wohoon. I am Mr Foster’s private investigator. I would…” He started to say into his phone as he walked off to his apartment. “So Declan finally found someone he could trust.” The man on the other side of the call chuckled. “Yes, Mr Hoffman. I was told you have a file for me. Will you email it to me, or must I collect it?” Aaron asked. “Please call me Ryan. You and I will be in contact often, I’m sure. I’ll email you my hotel’s address… actually scratch that. I’ll be hosting a masquerade party soon. We’ll meet then.” Ryan replied, then hung up the call. “I guess that means to collect it,” Aaron said to himself and shrugg
Declan walked into his house, and his personal phone started ringing. He groaned and ignored it while he poured himself some whiskey. He sat on the couch, and the phone rang again straight after it ended. “What!” He yelled into the phone without checking the caller ID. “Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?” A cocky voice replied. “Ryan, what do you want?” Declan asked and rolled his eyes. “I’m hosting a masquerade ball tomorrow evening. I noticed you have not responded to my invite yet. So I decided to phone and tell you to check your email.” He replied. “Why would I attend such a thing?” “Oh, so I can meet your new fiancé, of course. I want to see the lovely lady that stole your heart… I mean seed.” Ryan chuckled. “Shut up, Hoffman. I have to start making our relationship public in any case, so I’ll see you there.” The
Mount Nelson was a 5-star luxury hotel. They were led to a massive hall, and if you walked outside, you would find yourself by a pool. It was mesmerising and filled with people dressed to the theme. As they walked past, everyone stared at the stunning woman that held the billionaire’s hand. All eyes were on Sienna. “Uh, so this must be the lovely fiancé.” Ryan Hoffman cheered and walked over to greet the couple. “You didn’t tell me she was so beautiful, Declan.” He said with a sly smile which made Sienna tense up. “Sienna, this is my business partner, Ryan,” Declan explained. “Please, more like best friends. Hello sweetheart.” He bowed and placed a kiss on Sienna’s hand. “Pleasure to meet you, Mr Hoffman.” Sienna politely replied. “How’s the pregnancy?” Ryan asked and placed his hand on Sienna’s stomach, which gave her a fright. She stepped back, and Declan shoved Ryan’
Aaron Wohoon went straight to his apartment and locked the door behind him when they got home. He placed the file on the table and took out the masks that were in his pocket. He accidentally went home with Kian’s mask and ran his fingers over it.Kian’s gorgeous light brown eyes and blonde hair entered his thoughts. He found himself attracted to the assistant and didn’t understand why he felt connected to him when they held hands. Did this mean he was gay? He put the mask down and went to splash water on his face. He still liked women; heck, he found Miss Chae-Soo extremely attractive. Perhaps he was bisexual?Whatever was happening to him was new and made him feel confused. Why was Kian the one to bring out this side of him? Yes, he was kind, sexy, had an adorable smile, he smelled nice all the time… hardworking, accepting. Aaron smiled at the thought and looked at himself in the mirror. He looked happy. He had neve
They chatted while in the kitchen, and she convinced him to nibble on the chips while they waited. Caleb had never met anyone else like Aideen before; she was bubbly and free with a lot of energy and had so much love to give him. They went to the lounge with the tea, toasted sandwiches and bowl of snacks. Aideen scanned through her movies and asked Caleb if he watched them as she went along. He didn’t have time to watch movies, so he didn’t know most of them. “Choose your favourite and put it on,” Caleb remarked, and Aideen decided to put on Suicide Squad. She was a big DC fan, while Caleb didn’t know which superheroes were DC or Marvel. Caleb hadn’t just sat back and watched a movie in a while; it was extremely relaxing and a good change. Plus, he could cuddle Aideen, and she was super happy, which was a big win. Caleb really enjoyed the movie while munching on chips and sweets. “Do you want to have a family?” Aid
Caleb woke up the next morning to an empty bed. He imagined that Aideen left in the early hours of the morning snuck out while he was asleep. His heart shattered, and he lay in bed disappointed. Last night was amazing. She was exactly the type of woman that Caleb wished he had, one like her that wouldn’t run away. Finally, after Caleb finished sulking, he forced himself out of bed and went to take a shower. The warm water ran over his skin and washed away the smell of Aideen. It was better to not think of her. Caleb knew that being with her was too good to be true. Why did he ever think she would want to be with him? Caleb would always leave when a call came in for a new case, his phone would constantly be ringing, time spent with Aideen would have to be scheduled, and after a hard case, he would come home irritable and seem like a jerk. Caleb would choose to work on a case rather than spend a romantic evening with her because he knows he has responsibilities. The consequences were
“Let’s go,” Caleb stated, his voice deep with arousal. Aideen felt herself being pulled towards apartment 37 and kissed Caleb’s shoulder as he opened the door. “Nice apartment.” She smiled and placed her purse on the kitchen counter as she quickly scanned her surroundings. “Sit.” Caleb beamed and picked her up to sit on the counter; he then undid the buckles of her heels and let them slip off her feet. “You have such tiny feet.” He laughed and held her one foot in his hand. Aideen had a sexy dark purple nail polish on, which matched her dress. “I’m a size 5.” She laughed and wrapped her legs around Caleb, who picked her up and carried her to his bedroom. Caleb carefully placed Aideen onto her feet and unzipped her dress which he then pulled off. Caleb was mesmerised by the gorgeous woman in matching black lace underwear. Her breasts were full of life and firmly held in
After a few minutes of their make-out session, Caleb pulled away and stated, “We better get that coffee, or we won’t be leaving this car.” Which made Aideen laugh. “Hey!” She exclaimed as Caleb walked towards the shop. “What?” He asked, confused and walked back to her. “Come here.” She smiled and stepped forward to place a kiss on his lips. “Oh, you.” Caleb beamed, and Aideen slipped her hand into his as they walked into the Fresh Stop at the Caltex garage. “What would you like, baby?” Caleb asked and hugged Aideen from behind as she read the menu. “Can I please get a hot chocolate? What would you like?” She inquired. “A vanilla freeze, please.” “You can go pay at the counter so long.” The man replied and handed Aideen the receipt. Caleb took it from her hands and walked forward
Aideen imagined how he would be in her bed and loved how close they were. She couldn’t stop thinking about this sexy Detective since they first met. She then turned around and moved her hips to grind against Caleb and felt how aroused she made him. “Come with me,” Caleb whispered in her ear and held her hand while he walked away. Aideen was led out of the bar and slowly pushed against a wall. The cool air contrasted with how he made her feel and could hear his heavy breathing. “You can’t do that,” Caleb stated and looked into Aideen’s eyes. “Why?” She innocently asked and bit her lower lip. Caleb closed his eyes and traced the side of her face. Aideen wanted him to kiss her; she wanted him to take her up against the wall and let him feel how wet she was. “You make me want you,” Caleb whispered before he placed his lips against hers. Aideen kissed him back and deepened the kiss. Everything aro
Aideen wore a sexy tight purple dress that rose up to her thighs as she walked, with her wavy hair hanging loose behind her and a pair of pure black heels. She looked gorgeous. Caleb noticed the men watched her as she walked away and was instantly to his feet. He tried to follow her through the crowd, but she slipped away, so he gave up and sadly returned to his friends. “Caleb, there you are! This is Joyce.” Kelly smiled and gestured to a pretty Indian woman. She had black hair and dark brown eyes. “My date,” Samuel added. “Nice to meet you, Joyce.” Caleb greeted and sat down. “So I’ve been told you are a detective. I was just telling Samuel how I would love to have you come speak to the children at the school I work for.” “I’m sure that won’t be a problem.” Caleb smiled. “My friend quickly went to the bar. She hates it when I drag her around, bu
Caleb chuckled and took the coffee from the Doctor. “Sorry, just part of the job.” Before sipping on the coffee, Caleb shrugged and said, “Thanks”. “Can I ask to hear your evaluation?” Doctor Waba questioned and sat down. “By your body language, you are proud of who you are. You are a family man and have OCD, which I assume is why you became a phycologist yourself. You are the type of person to enjoy art galleries and try to find peace through everything you do. Am I on the right track?” “Hmm, very good. I am impressed. I was diagnosed with OCD when I was 8 years old, and back then, I thought the only one who understood me was my own phycologist. She helped me feel like I was normal, helped me understand my disorder and became my closest friend. I always looked up to her, and she inspired me to pursue this career and help others the way she helped me.” “That’s a sweet s
That Thursday morning, Caleb drove over to Rohana’s house and picked her up for the psych evaluation. He took her to the phycologist the precinct often worked with, Doctor Kagiso Ledwaba. Everyone that knew him just called him Doctor Waba. “I’m nervous,” Rohana confessed before they walked into the doctors building. The court had ruled that it was mandatory she goes for the evaluation, but luckily, she was willing to agree. “It’s okay, you haven’t done something like this before. It’s normal to feel nervous but don’t be scared. Doctor Waba is the best in Pretoria. He’ll take good care of you and is extremely kind.” Caleb replied to reassure her. He opened the door and let Rohana talk in. Doctor Waba stood waiting for them and offered Rohana a smile. “Hello, you must be Rohana Reed. Everyone calls me Doctor Waba, so please feel free to do the same.” He said friendly and shook her hand. “Would you like anything to dr
Aideen was strong and held her emotions together while she spoke. Caleb admired her for that and watched as her messy bun slowly unravelled and her gorgeous hair fell down to her shoulders. The light reflected against her hair which made it look sleek. The shine made her eyes appear even brighter, and he felt like everything around him disappeared as he stared into those electric blue orbs. For a second, everything froze as she gazed into his eyes, and he felt this immense connection shoot through him. Caleb quickly looked away from her and focused his attention on the case. He tried to distance himself by being professional and asked, “Where were you on Monday night?” Aideen almost seemed disappointed that the detective broke the moment they were experiencing. Her lips pressed together into a line, and her eyes seemed wider than usual. “Ryan had come over for dinner, and I only got him to leave around 1. That man
