Aaron noticed Sienna was fuming and watched her short hair sway as she walked away. She looked different tonight. She was confident and gorgeous, which made all the men like her, but how she spoke and carried herself is why they respected her. Not many wives know about their husbands’ companies, which made Sienna stand out among the crowd.
“Miss Chae-Soo, wait!” Aaron called and hurried after her down the passage.
“Just leave me alone for a bit.” She mumbled and stopped to face him. “How could Declan just flirt with another woman in front of me? Even if this is all fake, it’s disrespectful, and everyone judged me for not making him happy enough. You should have been the disgust on those women’s faces. I have never been made to feel so small in my life.” She said, frustrated.
“Sienna, you are a perfect woman, and anyone would be lucky to have you. The investor li
The avalanche that covered Kosciuszko National Park was all over the news for the next few weeks. 32 people made it out alive, 45 dead and 7 still missing. Everyone grieved over the death of Kian van Zyl, but Aaron was especially heartbroken. He remembered his last words to him, and they repeated in his head. “Go help her,” Kian said and gestured towards Sienna as she walked off. Aaron didn’t need to be told twice and instantly followed after her. He wondered if those were Kian’s last words to him for a reason. Was this purpose in life to help Sienna? He prayed for days for an answer and waited for Kian to show him a sign that he was okay. Aaron locked himself in his room and mostly cried while his mind raced with what-ifs and regrets. He wished he hadn’t followed Sienna and died that night next to Kian. At least they could have been together. Then, on the other hand, he felt lucky that he did go after her and could live on another day.
Sienna walked back over to the group and gave Aideen a hug goodbye.“Please don’t go to bed yet,” Aideen whined and held onto Sienna.“Do you feel unwell?” Declan asked and wondered why she wanted to turn in for the night. Sienna usually went to bed late and stayed up studying, reading or just binge-watching a series.“No,” Sienna yawned and stretched out her arms. “I’m just sleepy,” She added. Declan nodded, and everyone said goodnight. Sienna walked back to her room and ran herself a bath full of bath salts; the scent of lemongrass filled the air. She felt extremely relaxed and lay in the water with her eyes closed. She thought back to all of the awful things that Declan had done to her and that she did to him. She forgave him, and maybe it was stupid of her to still want to be with him, but her heart believed there was good inside of him.
The next morning Sienna and Declan woke up in each other’s arms. It was nice to sleep next to someone without expecting any type of sexual attention. Declan had never slept next to a woman before without sleeping with her the previous night, but the change felt good. He knew in his heart that Sienna was meant to be the woman he would marry and spend the rest of his life with. He first had to fix their relationship and decided to court Sienna like a true gentleman. They climbed out of bed, and Sienna went back to her room to get dressed while Declan waited outside her door. The couple walked into the dining room together. Aaron glanced over at them, confused, which Caleb noticed and raised his suspicions. On the other hand, Aideen had a pair of sunglasses on and slowly sipped on a hot cup of strong black coffee.“Good morning, rough night?” Sienna asked Aideen and grabbed a croissant. Declan moved her chair and let her sit d
A week laterDeclan bought a private yacht he named Sienna and gave it to her as their wedding gift. The wedding was also to take place on the yacht as they sailed towards Mauritius, where it would be their honeymoon. Declan secretly had Sienna’s parents, brother, and Kim-Hae fly in to surprise her when they boarded. It was 2 days away from the wedding when the yacht took off with all the guests and the engaged couple.“Oh, Sienna, I think there are some people here to see you,” Declan stated and led her to the upstairs deck.“Me? Why me specifically?” Sienna asked, confused but trusting the billionaire, she let him lead the way. Sienna walked onto the deck and gasped when she recognised the familiar faces. Both Kim and Hanuel lit up and ran over to her with their arms open wide.“Sienna!” Hanuel happily shouted and hugged his sister.&ld
“Hey.” Aideen blushed when she opened the door to find a smiling Taro.“You look gorgeous.” He smiled and gave her a hug.“Taro a word.” Declan Foster stated and stepped in front of his younger sister. Declan had always been protective over her ever since they were adopted by The Fosters when he was 4 years old. Aideen had been 2 at the time.“Declan, please just leave him alone.” Aideen rolled her eyes.“What are your intentions with my sister?” Declan asked as they walked towards Taro’s black Volkswagen Golf.“Dude, we just gonna chill.” Taro laughed.“If you hurt her, I will kill you. Do we understand each other?” Declan threatened.“Sure, man,” Taro answered. Another useless big brother threat, he’s heard many before.&nb
Sienna stared at her husband as he sipped on champagne and watched him smile at whatever his Dad said. He looked ravishingly sexy in his white tux. His dark blue eyes seemed to be bolder and more piercing today, and his short, buzz cut blonde hair made him look naughtily sexy. The thought of having him inside of her sparked in her mind. Her hand was on her thigh as she sat by the table surrounded by Aideen, Kim, her mom and mother-in-law. She imagined Declan’s strong big hand on her thigh instead of her own and squeezed it, imagining it was him. She bit onto her lower lip, and Declan’s gaze moved to look at her. A fiery passion burned in his eyes as he looked over at his wife. Sienna took a sip of the non-alcoholic champagne and slowly wiped away the drop that stayed on her lip while he stared at her.He watched him swallow and adjust his pants, which meant he, too, was turned on. Sienna wondered why being married and being able
Declan’s voice broke on the last sentence, and he carefully put both pieces of glass back into the box. He then stepped closer towards Sienna and gently kissed her. She lovingly kissed him back, and they found themselves laying down on the blankets.“I want you, Sienna,” Declan mumbled in her ear.“I want you too, but we aren’t in the room,” Sienna replied and ran her hand down his torso. She could feel his abs through the thing material of his shirt and wished she could feel his skin against hers. Declan moved his hand to squeeze her thigh and sucked on the delicate skin of her neck.“I told no one to disturb us, and the curtains were all closed to give us privacy.”“Good.” Sienna smiled and started undoing his shirt buttons. Being with Declan felt so right, and she was so grateful for the baby growing inside of her. The baby had boug
Dear journal,It is day two of writing in you. Doctor Bailey read my first entry and said he was proud of me, so at least I’m doing one thing right. Manny said it’s weird that I call my therapist my friend and see him every day. Is that weird? Anyways, I punched Manny for saying that, so we not talking again. He’ll speak to me again when his arm stops hurting, so I’m not too worried. So today I sat at lunch with the girl I sit next to in maths. Her name is Jeni, I know it’s spelt weird, but she has cute glasses and long blonde hair. She always gives me jelly tots in class; it’s our little secret. All Jeni’s friends came to sit with us, so I had to sit with a table full of girls! They talk about such odd things as having babies, makeup and boys. Then one girl said that Jeni and I would have a baby if we continued sharing jelly tots. I was horrified! I don’t want a baby. They cry, eat all your sweets and poop a lot. So, tod
They chatted while in the kitchen, and she convinced him to nibble on the chips while they waited. Caleb had never met anyone else like Aideen before; she was bubbly and free with a lot of energy and had so much love to give him. They went to the lounge with the tea, toasted sandwiches and bowl of snacks. Aideen scanned through her movies and asked Caleb if he watched them as she went along. He didn’t have time to watch movies, so he didn’t know most of them. “Choose your favourite and put it on,” Caleb remarked, and Aideen decided to put on Suicide Squad. She was a big DC fan, while Caleb didn’t know which superheroes were DC or Marvel. Caleb hadn’t just sat back and watched a movie in a while; it was extremely relaxing and a good change. Plus, he could cuddle Aideen, and she was super happy, which was a big win. Caleb really enjoyed the movie while munching on chips and sweets. “Do you want to have a family?” Aid
Caleb woke up the next morning to an empty bed. He imagined that Aideen left in the early hours of the morning snuck out while he was asleep. His heart shattered, and he lay in bed disappointed. Last night was amazing. She was exactly the type of woman that Caleb wished he had, one like her that wouldn’t run away. Finally, after Caleb finished sulking, he forced himself out of bed and went to take a shower. The warm water ran over his skin and washed away the smell of Aideen. It was better to not think of her. Caleb knew that being with her was too good to be true. Why did he ever think she would want to be with him? Caleb would always leave when a call came in for a new case, his phone would constantly be ringing, time spent with Aideen would have to be scheduled, and after a hard case, he would come home irritable and seem like a jerk. Caleb would choose to work on a case rather than spend a romantic evening with her because he knows he has responsibilities. The consequences were
“Let’s go,” Caleb stated, his voice deep with arousal. Aideen felt herself being pulled towards apartment 37 and kissed Caleb’s shoulder as he opened the door. “Nice apartment.” She smiled and placed her purse on the kitchen counter as she quickly scanned her surroundings. “Sit.” Caleb beamed and picked her up to sit on the counter; he then undid the buckles of her heels and let them slip off her feet. “You have such tiny feet.” He laughed and held her one foot in his hand. Aideen had a sexy dark purple nail polish on, which matched her dress. “I’m a size 5.” She laughed and wrapped her legs around Caleb, who picked her up and carried her to his bedroom. Caleb carefully placed Aideen onto her feet and unzipped her dress which he then pulled off. Caleb was mesmerised by the gorgeous woman in matching black lace underwear. Her breasts were full of life and firmly held in
After a few minutes of their make-out session, Caleb pulled away and stated, “We better get that coffee, or we won’t be leaving this car.” Which made Aideen laugh. “Hey!” She exclaimed as Caleb walked towards the shop. “What?” He asked, confused and walked back to her. “Come here.” She smiled and stepped forward to place a kiss on his lips. “Oh, you.” Caleb beamed, and Aideen slipped her hand into his as they walked into the Fresh Stop at the Caltex garage. “What would you like, baby?” Caleb asked and hugged Aideen from behind as she read the menu. “Can I please get a hot chocolate? What would you like?” She inquired. “A vanilla freeze, please.” “You can go pay at the counter so long.” The man replied and handed Aideen the receipt. Caleb took it from her hands and walked forward
Aideen imagined how he would be in her bed and loved how close they were. She couldn’t stop thinking about this sexy Detective since they first met. She then turned around and moved her hips to grind against Caleb and felt how aroused she made him. “Come with me,” Caleb whispered in her ear and held her hand while he walked away. Aideen was led out of the bar and slowly pushed against a wall. The cool air contrasted with how he made her feel and could hear his heavy breathing. “You can’t do that,” Caleb stated and looked into Aideen’s eyes. “Why?” She innocently asked and bit her lower lip. Caleb closed his eyes and traced the side of her face. Aideen wanted him to kiss her; she wanted him to take her up against the wall and let him feel how wet she was. “You make me want you,” Caleb whispered before he placed his lips against hers. Aideen kissed him back and deepened the kiss. Everything aro
Aideen wore a sexy tight purple dress that rose up to her thighs as she walked, with her wavy hair hanging loose behind her and a pair of pure black heels. She looked gorgeous. Caleb noticed the men watched her as she walked away and was instantly to his feet. He tried to follow her through the crowd, but she slipped away, so he gave up and sadly returned to his friends. “Caleb, there you are! This is Joyce.” Kelly smiled and gestured to a pretty Indian woman. She had black hair and dark brown eyes. “My date,” Samuel added. “Nice to meet you, Joyce.” Caleb greeted and sat down. “So I’ve been told you are a detective. I was just telling Samuel how I would love to have you come speak to the children at the school I work for.” “I’m sure that won’t be a problem.” Caleb smiled. “My friend quickly went to the bar. She hates it when I drag her around, bu
Caleb chuckled and took the coffee from the Doctor. “Sorry, just part of the job.” Before sipping on the coffee, Caleb shrugged and said, “Thanks”. “Can I ask to hear your evaluation?” Doctor Waba questioned and sat down. “By your body language, you are proud of who you are. You are a family man and have OCD, which I assume is why you became a phycologist yourself. You are the type of person to enjoy art galleries and try to find peace through everything you do. Am I on the right track?” “Hmm, very good. I am impressed. I was diagnosed with OCD when I was 8 years old, and back then, I thought the only one who understood me was my own phycologist. She helped me feel like I was normal, helped me understand my disorder and became my closest friend. I always looked up to her, and she inspired me to pursue this career and help others the way she helped me.” “That’s a sweet s
That Thursday morning, Caleb drove over to Rohana’s house and picked her up for the psych evaluation. He took her to the phycologist the precinct often worked with, Doctor Kagiso Ledwaba. Everyone that knew him just called him Doctor Waba. “I’m nervous,” Rohana confessed before they walked into the doctors building. The court had ruled that it was mandatory she goes for the evaluation, but luckily, she was willing to agree. “It’s okay, you haven’t done something like this before. It’s normal to feel nervous but don’t be scared. Doctor Waba is the best in Pretoria. He’ll take good care of you and is extremely kind.” Caleb replied to reassure her. He opened the door and let Rohana talk in. Doctor Waba stood waiting for them and offered Rohana a smile. “Hello, you must be Rohana Reed. Everyone calls me Doctor Waba, so please feel free to do the same.” He said friendly and shook her hand. “Would you like anything to dr
Aideen was strong and held her emotions together while she spoke. Caleb admired her for that and watched as her messy bun slowly unravelled and her gorgeous hair fell down to her shoulders. The light reflected against her hair which made it look sleek. The shine made her eyes appear even brighter, and he felt like everything around him disappeared as he stared into those electric blue orbs. For a second, everything froze as she gazed into his eyes, and he felt this immense connection shoot through him. Caleb quickly looked away from her and focused his attention on the case. He tried to distance himself by being professional and asked, “Where were you on Monday night?” Aideen almost seemed disappointed that the detective broke the moment they were experiencing. Her lips pressed together into a line, and her eyes seemed wider than usual. “Ryan had come over for dinner, and I only got him to leave around 1. That man
