My anger boiled as I looked at the three policemen who were indirectly accusing me of trying to poison my wife. I couldn't blame them or refuse, so I picked up the spoon and ate the meal, ensuring to eat from the top, center, and bottom to show them that the food wasn't poisoned.

I knew that Natalie had no one, and it was only right that I cared for her. Although, I didn't even know if the policemen had already gotten her something to eat.
