As I was famished, I went back to the kitchen to prepare the food I wanted to eat. Warming it up, I took the lunch box with me and unlocked it. I could hear the sound of Franklin shutting the living room door.

Frank came into the kitchen to meet me, and he went on apologizing, saying, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to accuse you in the first place."

I ignored Frank as my focus was on warming the food that I had set on the fire in one of my cooking pots.

"Natalie," Frank called my name as he tried to approach me, but I turned to face him and warned him.

"Frank, please move away from me. I understand that you're sorry, but we cannot continue living together in this house and pretending that all is fine between us. You went out to hang out with my half-sister, knowing full well that Amelia and I don't have a good relationship. What were you expecting when you knew that she wanted you?" I looked at Frank's handsome face as I queried him.
