Chapter 8

The abnormality of my decision is hitting me hard, and it’s really becoming a burden on my conscience. I just made a decision to get married, I just handed in my signature, and already, I’m second-guessing myself.

My mind is filled with thoughts of conflicts. Have I done the right thing by accepting his offer? I know there is no turning back now; I had signed the contract, altering my fate. I sighed heavily and took a deep breath, trying to pull myself together, and remind myself why I was here.
