Chapter 33 Meaningless Past.

She made the wrong decision.

As soon as Lucien and Alexandra had finished their business Lunch, the skies opened up their impatient gates and just like the nights before, they allowed a heavy down pour onto the earth.

The sky was grey and surroundings windy when Alexandra stepped out. Raindrops pattered against the hard concrete below with no sign of letting up anytime soon.

Not that she cared, Michael would drive through the rain the moment she called him.

Adjusting her coat, she turned around to Lucien who was on a business call behind her.

It was so like him, always busy twenty four seven.

She examined his facial structure while he busied himself with whatever business was none of her concern. As he spoke in a foreign language she quickly identified as Russian, he nodded accordingly, his auburn smooth locks following his every movement and later settling just around his eyes, momentarily obstructing his view.
