Chapter 31 Heartbreak

3 days After

I monitored social media blogs, websites and even podcasts waiting to hear Michaels marriage. Our wedding was topnotch and was the talk of the town, and of course the day he rejected me was also made public.

I felt all the shame in the world but Spiffy was there, though I didn't appreciate his efforts,I rather clinged to Jim and Sarah who offered me their apartment. I was so hurt when Michael alleged he would be getting married to Karen so I left asking him what transpired between him and Jasmine the day I had delivery of Liam.

I had begun to rescind my thoughts on taking Spiffy to court,thank goddess I haven't told the rest of Jim acquaintances. Spiffy had mellowed down his rustic and brash attitude, and I was growing fond of him. I still hesitated at some of his touches.
