Logan’s POV:

When my mate rejected the pack, I knew she just made the biggest mistake in her life.

“So…” Carlos started as he leaned against the wall in my office whilst I sat back in my chair.

“Why did you let her do it?”

“Do what?” I asked, acting clueless.

“Renounce the pack. You know what that would do to her wolf.” Carlos thought I wouldn’t notice it. But his furrowed brows and tense muscles easily gave him away.

“Since when did you concern yourself with a woman?” I asked calmly.

“Since I found out she’s going to be my luna!” He snapped.
