CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN

Logan’s POV:

I let out a sigh, which I guess, would be the 39th time within the duration of the past thirty minutes.

“If you’re so worried, want me to check on them?”

“No,” I snapped, realizing I had lost my shit. I cleared my throat, “No.”

Carlos walked over, leaning his lower back against my desk.

“She wouldn’t hurt her.”

I sighed, again.

“I know that. It’s just…” My hands shoots into my hair, I grunt.

“Leona has her… preferences.”

Carlos raised a brow at me.

“What preferences?”

Leaning back, I tipped my head up, staring at the ceiling.

“You’d be surprised.”

I swiveled my chair

180 degrees, facing the glass wall overlooking the view from the packhouse.

“How did she even know I was here?” I growled.

I did everything in my power to avoid her. Going to places where I knew she wouldn’t venture out and find me.

I was careful before she came marching in my fucking office.

“Apparently, she’s looking for someone from the Elite forces of the Blood Moon Pack.”

His words rendered me completely
