CHAPTER 23 - SUSPICIONS CONFIRMED

Amos’ POV

“To my office,” I ordered immediately we drove into the pack mansion.

“Daddyyyyy you need rest!” Angie whined but Jack drove straight to my office without asking any questions.

“You know better Angie,” Quinn said looking at me from the corner of his eye.

“Reports please,” I demanded and Jack proceeded to give me detailed information about the pack and the other businesses he was overseeing.

From the looks of things so far everything was going smoothly but I still couldn't shake the intense feeling of loss, I still felt like I was forgetting something very important.

“Your friend, Avery was it?” I asked Angie as we came down from the car.

“Yes, Avery,” Angie said, giving me a suspicious look.

“Tell me about her,” I asked, feeling a need to know more about the lady I seemed to have a deep longing for.
