CHAPTER 29 - LOST CHILD

Avery's POV

“What!!!” He screamed looking at me like he could strangle me.

“Your father is my mate,” I said silently hoping this would change his mind.

“How is that even possible?” He asked in shock looking at me suspiciously.

“I don't know but I found out on the anniversary night and…” I didn't go any further, I wanted his imagination to do the rest.

“What you are saying is that on the anniversary night… you and my dad…?” he couldn't complete the sentence he just stared at me wanting an answer.

“Yes,” I said, grateful that it was all sinking in.

“Was that why you ran away and he went crazy?” He asked looking at me in disbelief.

“He went crazy?” I asked wanting to confirm if Amos’ story of trying to find me was true.

“Yes, that's why he had that accident in the first place,” he answered thinking out loud but soon realizing himself, he directed his question back to me.

“So the child you are carrying…” I completed the sentence before he did.

“Is your brother or sister,” I said thinking
