Chapter 2

Sienna's P.O.V

After waiting for almost two hours in front of the hotel,my grumpy best friend arrives. 

I immediately run the flight of stairs and got to his car. 

Derrick is what you call rich daddy's boy. His dad is a well known business man in this country and beyond.  Derrick is the last of four boys, so he is being spoiled rotten. 

He brought his Rolls-Royce to pick me up,and don't get me  started on his Bugatti that he always brings to school. 

He is also your typical play boy, with his deep blue ocean eyes are curly black hair every girl will fall at his feet.

I open the door to the passenger seat and sat inside putting my shoes on the floor.

I sit there silently waiting for him to scold me or something but he didn't say anything yet. Gosh,he is really mad at me.

There is a wave of awkwardness between us,and after some time,he let out a sigh and looks at me.

"promise me you'd not repeat it again"he says and I smile looking at him.

"I promise"I say

"Now,you don't have to go but you remember my brother Dean" he asks and I nod

"well he is back here and you know is a therapist, maybe I can talk to him,so you'll starting going"he says and bit my lips

"Dee, you know I can't, even if I can I don't have the money to. I have alot going on right now."I reply

"I know,but it can help you with this your situation. I know it hard to trust someone,let alone reveal past trauma but believe me when I say my brother is very professional about his work. Trust me on this Si, don't worry about the financial aspect,I'm here for you"he softly reply and I look out the window thinking about it.

I have never met any of Derrick brothers, they are all spread out in the state and world.

The first son, Daryl Hallson  runs the main company in Colorado and he is married with 2children, two girls I think and they being spoiled rotten by their grandparents and uncles according to Derrick.

The second son, Drew Hallson lives in England and run his restaurant there. I hard it one of the elite restaurant in all of Europe and he has others in other continents. He is also married with a kid ,a boy. According to Dee he is the funny and jovial one.

The third son is Dean Hall, the psychologist and therapist. Not heard of him much  because he withdrew from his family after some incidence and moved to Australia but now he is back to the USA.

Lastly Derrick, the baby of the family, studying business to take over his dad's other companies. 

"Fine. I'm going to go. Thank you" I say whole heartedly

"Good. So have you heard from the hospital yet?" he asks and I shake my head in despair

" You know I can help to Si,just allow me and I'll just tell my dad. He is a very good of the successor" he reasons

"no Dee, I want to get this fair and square,I want to know my strength and you've done enough for me." I reply with a smile

"you know you are like  a little sister to me and I'll do anything for you" he says to me as we turn left and then I realized he had started driving.

"so why did you even chose Saint Andrews,there are alot hospitals around, like Martins Hospital or H&R hospital?"he asks

"Well for the starters they recurrit the best doctors and nurses, they have less demanding rate and they don't look for rich background" I reply him.

" I know, my dad recently told me a young neurologist married one the terminally ill patient and she passed away just a month ago. She composed this song and it has touched many hearts" he says 

" yh, I heard of the news,she was a very pretty girl,too bad had to die. Dr. Arson Cooper has been moved to England,to the new branch over there. I get his grief, losing your other half to death isn't easy. I love her song by the way,he said it for all those who didn't get to say goodbye" I say and smile sadly.

I start to hum the tune of the song,

"I'm still holding on to everything that dead and gone. I don't wanna say goodbye cause means forever,now you're in the stars the six fit never felt so far,here I am alone between the heavens and the ambers, oh it hurts so bad for a million different reasons why you took the best of my heart and left rest in pieces" we both sang in a sad tune.

"that is a very touching song. their love is what we call true love. I'm not sure he is going to move on from this. Even during the speech did you see how he cried?"  Dee asks

" Yh, it was very sad and touching,she did a number on him tho. May her soul rest peace" I say and look up.

"Yh, will you be  going to her memorial service next week at central park?" I ask

"Yh,the successor invited my parents and I have to be there because I admire here. She was a good soul and touched alot of hearts. You should be there maybe you can meet your role  model Dr. Arson Cooper for real." he says with a smirk as we rich the junction to my apartment. 

"yh I'll be there. I need to get some sleep before I go to work,I have afternoon shifts" I say as we got closer to my building.

I live in a middle class neighborhood with Nina, that is why I have to work two jobs to survive New York City and support my self. At times it gets hard but such is life.

Once he parked in front my apartment, I  Immediately pick up my things and opened the door,

"see you on Monday"I say and weave at him before leaving the car. 

I watch the car leave and disappear before entering my apartment.

Gosh I'm so tired.
